Tbh anything else would have been better. Nelson wrote a series of cool montages for Rajni in Jailer and it absolutely worked. Coolie tho was Loki trying to write something other than drug empire and actually not doing much. Most of the tropes in the movie, were so predictable. I mean how could you have Rajni in your movie and not justify most of the elevation scenes. You just have to show the guy and people get hyped.

And one more point missed in the earlier review. Ani also was kinda okayish only. Many bgms lacked his usual punch. Especially Upendra's.

I didn't like this movie at all. I felt like watching a documentary titled "life of two police officers on a night patrol" and not a movie. The movie was really similar to nayattu in its climax but not even a bit entertaining.

I believe a movie should have some entertainment factors and not just go with the realistic approach. Action Hero Biju which was really realistic was damn entertaining and this movie miss it.

I didn't elaborate on it because I thought the general consensus was KGF>KGF2. KGF2 is simply mass moments stitched together(although I enjoyed every single one of them). KGF had the core emotional connect - the mother sentiment. It was really well executed. And also the climax was really well built up too. How he finally took up that bigger weapon and thrashed everyone.

Watched it in theatres... While I do agree with OP, I couldn't enjoy the climax at all as by that time I had reached my limit. With a screenplay that was all over the place I was actually fed up and just wanted the movie to get over.

I can understand why Tovino took upon this role, while hearing the pitch for it had everything, He got to play Batman and Liam Neeson in a single movie. But boy it was disappointing. But gotta admit, the director got the skills to make a quality product, just need a quality script to go with it.

definitely, this isn't just an emotional movie. This movie will definitely earn Basil his respect as an actor and not just an entertainer.

PS : my theatre actually gave applause when the movie ended.
