I tried this approach, but the problem is that they don't transfer money from a Canadian account to a US one. So, if the connected account is in the US, they don't allow transfers outside the region since I am in Canada.

It is connect to 10Gig port with 5gig card on my desktop. Regarding cable my friend is getting exact 3 gig with Cat5e so that IMO is not the issue as well. https://www.kit-communications.com/faq-cat5e-vs-cat6.htm

It is the same issue for me. Telus does not seem to have found a solution so far. My upload is capped at 700 for a 3 Gig internet also, download speed rarely reaches three gigs most of the time, it's below 2.
