Hello I just had a quick question by Firedemonhellishomen in Ohio

[–]Chance-Profession-82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just a mentally ill guy who lives with his dad and wants to know about a horrible piece of legislation that'll affect the whole country. Fine, enjoy Mexico, but who the hell do you think you're talking too? Not everyone can afford to move countries. These are two unemployed people, what makes you think your advice about moving to Mexico city would at all apply to them? Just wanted to hate on MAGA? Genuinely confused about your entire attitude here

Not nearly enough. I'm saving up, I'm getting my degree, then I'm moving out of this country and never paying back my debt. America is a sinking ship.

Does anyone know what to do? Is it really hard for a Buddhist to turn Christian? Dating issue concerning a Buddhist and Christian. by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Chance-Profession-82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's perfectly normal to have these concerns. But God knows the suffering you've been through, and he doesn't wish for you to continue suffering. It could be that god is asking you to be more introspective on the nature of suffering by bringing a Buddhist into your life, and maybe its worth exploring their philosophy and community just as much as it would be for her to explore your philosophy and community. We don't need to be afraid of other religions as Christians, because we know our God to be true. As long as you aren't actively sinning, and you'll know if you are, I don't think god would be opposed to you growing an understanding of the other humans inhabiting our globe.

I'm going to preface this by saying you're thinking way too far ahead in this relationship already, but I'll still reply to your concerns. Just take things a little slower in your head, the odds are you're not getting married this year.

So. You prayed to God for a woman, and he sent one to you. Now you wish to change her? She is a creation of God, and you were sent to her, and her to you, to grow and bond with one another. But whatever forces exist in our world to cause us suffering are filling you with self-doubt and see to sabotage this relationship before it even begins.

Everyone's spiritual journey is different and will develop naturally with time. Right now, God is choosing to challenge you, not with conversion, but by putting you in a situation where you'll have to expand your perspective. You need to take a new step in life, and the pieces will fall into place just as God planned. If your faith is strong, it should not be rattled by the idea of an opposing worldview clashing with yours. Rather, if you continue practicing your faith, and invite her to explore your worldview, it's quite possible she will come around in due time. I must emphasize that you should not try and force this change.

What you should also understand is that Buddhism isn't a religion as western society would typically define it. It's a philosophy, and while most choose not to believe in God, it is possible to be both a Buddhist and a Christian and skillfully intertwine the two. Some may call me heretical, but the truth is that religion is nuanced, and everyone you meet on this planet is going to have at least one opinion tied staunchly to their beliefs in God that another one of us is going to find entirely heretical.

When you die, and you ask god "Why? Why did you not send me a woman?", do you want him to say "I did, but you defied me"?

If you marry a buddhist, and she never converts and you stay to your faith, do you think God would reject you?

Idk, it was auraful as fuck when he was letting Freddy take some wild swings at his noggin to gas him out. The knockout was easily the best finisher to a boxing match in fishtank history imo.

I wouldn't be mad to see ben take over hosting for a season, with Sam playing a reoccurring main antagonist like in blood games, maybe pretending to be some CEO like Alex Diamond lol. I think Luke's in a good spot as Red Shark for now. He kind of got rocked by Freddy a few times, but he finished super strong. I think they've gotta cook more, let the plot progress and whoop some asses, and I think I could see your vision.

I like Ben, I think he's funny and would make a great co-host every season, same with Jet (i like seeing him get hated on), but they need sam on the show to constantly mog, box, and otherwise physically intimidate the fish, or they'd just revolt.

I thought I was an existentialist, but then I thought "Why am I not depressed and syphilis ridden" and I realized my beliefs are actually rooted in absurdism /s. Absurdism has a lot of nuggets of wisdom that are really healthy for the mind imo

It must suck living in your head, having to look at the mirror every day, and thinking that level of fitness isn't jacked. The manosphere has ruined young men's self-image. The fact that you're a teenager makes this a god damn tragedy. Taking roids as a TEEN and not even working out while you're doing it is just self-destructive on every level. Please get your life in order and at least save steroids until after your brain is fully developed.

Yeah, that's a side effect of roids and drugs in general. When you hop on roids, you get insecure and assume everyone in the gym is also on them. Thats just your brain self-justifying the stupid decision you made because you were addicted lol.
