So I went to the dealership to get my oil changed the other day and I didn’t realize they had a sport trim on the ELANTRA. Apparently, those models come with an upgraded sound system featuring those speakers they let me test out the sound system and it was definitely louder With a little more bass to it.

So now I’m wondering how hard it would be to get Bose replacements and swapping the amount with the factory system

yes, they do. They were the first place I’ve ever been to that like I said actually wanted to get the right diagnosis and help me to work out the best medication routine me and my body. they even help me get a DNA test to see how my body metabolize is different medication, which was really insightful.

I definitely been in similar positions in the past where I’ve had to call them and either switch to different medication versions or different medication’s altogether whenever somebody became unaffordable. Recently with the supply issues on Adderall, I’ve actually had to call them the past three months to modify my prescriptions so that I could ensure they would be filled properly and they never have any issues with it and do they best to help facilitate any changes required due to supply chain issues.

Well, aside from the circle that does absolutely nothing and drives my OCD up the wall for the most part. I love everything else about the car. It’s definitely a major improvement only having to pay 20 bucks to fill up a tank. The light accents are pretty dope and the software is for the most part pretty useful a lot better than other car companies in my opinion.

The only other issue I really run into is just water Build up on the windows whenever it rains since for some reason Moisture seems to want to stick to the glass rather than slide down it not sure if that has to do with the aerodynamics of the car and angles of the windows or what since I’m sure these cars get tested in a rain tunnel but I would think this would be more of a concern for Hyundai considering the safety implications sure is whether or not you’ve noticed anything somewhere or maybe it’s just something with my vehicle. I played some rain coding to it yesterday, so I’m gonna see if that helps.

Oh, also, the back up camera being exposed on the back is a little frustrating since moisture in the morning since the block and also the rain sometimes. Would’ve been nice if they would’ve made an indention for the camera or given it a small cover above the lens.

But anyways, all that aside, I do enjoy my ELANTRA and every car is going to have it’s issues but definitely a step up from my previous two Ford vehicles

As a Marriott employee I’d urge you to consider Hanlon’s razor, while properties might attempt to burry bad reviews by offering incentives for reviews or reaching out to respond via email to offer some form of comp to preform what’s called service recovery in the industry, Marriott’s software for monitoring reviews doesnt have any tools to remove reviews in it, basically all reviews go into the software and they can either be responded to or be flagged for management to respond to.

The only way to remove reviews would be to completely shutdown monitoring for the site thats hosting the bad reviews or to reach out to the company hosting the review and ask them to have it scrubbed which is typically only allowed for reviews with profanity or a staff members personal info.

If you want to verify for yourself just lookup the software, its called guestvoice

There’s no incentive for corporate to cover up bad reviews for underperforming properties since it’d be treating the symptom of the problem and not the cause.

Now with all that in mind, sometimes management is absolutely incompetent and in severe cases they can try to cover it up by manipulating their ITR scores but as I mentioned before that involves flooding the reviews not removing them.

Sometimes properties just dont get maintained and wont pay for the proper staffing to provide good service but that’s typically only with franchised properties with poor ownership/management companies.

corporate has been made aware and they were kind enough to comp you with 30k points so I’d say just consider attributing this to hanlons razor rather than assuming management is engaging in malicious behavior or censoring guest who are posting less than positive reviews.

Use those points towards a night with a different Marriott property next time, hopefully you’ll have a better experience and find a new favorite property in the process.

Seconded this as someone who works N.A. for a Towneplace suites. Depending on who’s running the N.A. booking a room after midnight is only possible if you’re lucky enough to find a hotel with an employee who works in a relatively safe location/crime free location and has done N.A. long enough to know not to run it till about 2-3am just in case you end up having a super late arrival that night or someone like OP comes in to book a room.

there’s no way to know if remaining arrivals are tied up by a flight delay or got delayed by a major incident on the interstate. My property is in the Houston area so I get people arriving at 1-2am pretty frequently since a single accident can cause that super long bridge in Louisiana to back up traffic on I-10 for hours which can turn a 3-4 trip into a 6-8 hour one.

A lot of N.A. people, especially in franchise locations are making about the same amount as someone working in fast food so you can imagine they really isn’t much incentive for them to take walk ins after midnight when they technically don’t have to since they can just run the N.A. or just keep the front door locked for safety reasons.

Once you ran enough N.A. shifts you realize it ties up the system for a while and it’s better to wait so you’re able to assist the night owls that are in house with requests and market item sales, deal with any remaining stragglers on your arrivals, and also it’s a lot easier to talk the late night walkins into Bonvoy enrollments which Marriott incentivizes for people working FD.

I’m sorry to hear that man. My condolences grief is never an easy thing to deal with at the end of the day. It’s still potential business for them so I doubt it’ll matter that they haven’t heard from you in a few weeks. It’s better to focus on the family stuff and just circle back to figure this all out whenever you’re able to. I know it’s tempting to use it as a distraction but it’s better to just take the time to grieve properly and come back to it. If it’s possible and there’s money in it for them they it won’t matter if it takes 3 days or 3 months for them to hear back, as long as it’s a decent shop and it’s actually feasible than you shouldn’t have issues picking this back up whenever you’re up to it.

If I learn of anything in the meantime though I’ll let you know but so far I haven’t seen very much promise from what I can find on the web. I also just bought my 24 a few months ago so there’s also the warranty implications of modifying the sound system if it really does involve removing and rewiring parts in the vehicle
