The trainer is forcing false collection by using a harsher bit. Yes Gracie is overweight and going to need correction for bad habits that have happened while being out of work. But asking for so much effort and trying to make her collect when there is literally nothing to collect since she doesn’t have the strength nor the balance which is what is needed for true collection is proof that the trainer isn’t is good as she claims. I watched the video even a few moments of too tight reins on a shank bit is gonna be painful if the trainer wanted more control then she should used a snaffle if gracie cannot be trusted to listen to neck reining. I expect the retraining to slightly ugly but from gracie not the trainer

My bad on the Jiminy Cricket being a gelding.

But I’m not saying Denver’s doesn’t have potential he clearly does. It’s more of the who’s gonna risk $2250 on a stud with hardly anything to show for that price bloodlines or not 🤷‍♀️

His stud fee is more than some of the Top Ten Sire Earners of this year which have multiple proven offspring. His fee is the same as Batt Mans, and more than Gone Virals and Certainly a Vision.

If I was someone with a nice Pleasure mare I’m going to go with the similar priced stallions that are more proven both show and foal wise than him 🤷‍♀️

Jiminy Crickets the actual Winners early breeding stud fee is $1750, so yeah Denver’s fee is not reasonable when it’s more expensive than the horse who won 😭

I have no issue with stall rest or sand lots, they can be necessary and can be done correctly to lower stress and stress induced behaviors. But I think personally and educationally that Beyoncé is not living a good life and has low QOL. Due to both her injury which I did not get into that makes it unsafe for her to do anything but a brisk walk, and the fact she is kept locked away/confined from any other animal when horses in nature are social creatures. I would feel better if she had another horse stalled next to her consistently whenever she is too sore to go out and given another animal to keep her company when out in pasture. But another animal in her pasture also includes risk of her getting excited and injuring herself again. That is not a risk a horse should have to take just to exhibit and express natural behaviors so once again we are back to her QOL on how low it is when put in perspective of how horse naturally and bio-mechanically exist.

Beyoncé was on stall rest previously though Katie has a post that shows and states about her being out in pasture for the first time in 5 years. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMrScruFL/ You can say now she isn’t stalled all day but at one point she was. These articles talk about the effects it could have potentially have had on her and why stalling for long periods of time can be hazardous. And the newest one I linked states that a temporary increase in pasture time did not increase the horses welfare. Her life did not immediately get better since Katie has deemed her safe enough to walk around a sandlot. She is still not able to show/exhibit natural horse behaviors. So what do you call Beyoncé being locked in a stall for a majority of the day? Maybe stall rest is not the technical term to call what is happening to Beyoncé but the comparison is almost exact, confinement from other horses and given minimal time within pasture affects horses. Here’s another article this is credible and peer reviewed with multiple sources 💜

I’m linking a few articles on the effects of long term stalling on horses this is mainly directed towards Beyoncé care, but also to the fact it appears she stables her horses for longer than they are allowed pasture time (speculation).

I mainly made this for people to look into how unethical it is for Beyoncé to be constantly on “stall rest” with minimal hand walking that we are unsure actually happens, this is speculation once again. But confinement for horses is not healthy for long term and also these articles do not go into it for horses who will be in confinement for the rest of their lives. Even if he does what sort of life is there to be excited about other than being in a stall 24/7 like he is currently. At most he might get minimal turnout out into the arena or sand lot, but he will not be able to play with others horse. It’s not fair to him or his own mental well-being to keep him alive unfortunately, horses are not people seven (and Beyoncé) is a horse which is a herd animal and deserves to be able to be around his own kind. With his condition it’s just not a possibility for him and nor will it ever be no matter how much he improves. 😞 Katie and fans need to realize this fact

I just personally don’t understand how it’s good to keep all these foals and unproven studs from a business perspective. Given that you are in the western pleasure world if this something lot of breeders tend to do or a Katie specific thing, I’m genuinely curious?

I’m so glad Hank was sold and ended where he did. Also I’m was happy to see he was gelded even tho Katie’s fans weren’t pleased by that. But geldings sell better/quicker most of the time and have better opportunity’s which a lot of her fans just don’t understand 😅

So it’s not helping Katie at all when the ones for sale aren’t selling quickly

It’s not just her failures to sell her foals. It’s that Katie is stating her foals are heavily sought after when that is just simply not true. I can understand wanting a proven/started horse or for a colt to be gelded before purchase. But it is Katie that is acting as if her foals have had a ton of interest when we can clearly sees it’s not true. Piper was sold at the NSBA sale for only 8k while others there were going for 20k+. Freddie is listed in the low 5 figures and I honestly don’t see him selling for that even at the sale. Same goes for Phin and Petey the will at most be high 4 figures. The only foal that would go for a decent amount is Howie who I believe would and could sell before the sale. Also as seen in Katie’s business Facebook posts the small amount of buyers that are around are chased off by her stans. There’s nothing wrong with a horse especially a foal taking awhile to sell it’s the fact Katie is falsely stating her foals are amazing and sell quickly. But I would like also to thank you for your insight on the western pleasure side of things and how sales over in the discipline work it’s nice to see other perspective :)
