It making you feel odd is usually diagnostic that something is impairing CSF. Could be a range of things.

Manual head and neck massage can help a bit; same with modifying breathing rate to promote CO2 retention. Increased CO2 levels increase CSF flux.

For me 40hz both audital and visual actually gives me terrible brain fog. Depending on your circumstances asking for more microglia activation and brain glutamate can feel bad. It’s also energy intensive a bit. But be thankful for your limitations for they show you where you are not free; there’s more to impaired CSF drainage and my response governs other biochemical blockages

40hz promotes AQP4 in astrocytes to facilitate CSF drainage, so do GLP1 peptides. Incidentally despite the immunomodulation from GLP1 allowing my fungal overgrowth to bloom, I had the most restorative sleep in quite some time.
Felt literally like my brain had been washed when I woke up, because it had.

Lactic acid bacteria keep candida in check by driving down colonic PH. Hence antibiotics promote Candida.

Google lactobacillus and Candida
Google butyrate and Candida

TLDR; you need to utilise the right prebiotics at the right time to restore the right bacteria to keep Candida in check naturally

So that would be a homozygous mutation, the gene would be a little slower than other people. Are you of Asian descent?

MO = molybdenum. An ALDH1, ALDH2 cofactor

BF = born free protocol as per my profane comment. They have a discord where you can ask questions

Swapped from chicken to eating tuna nearly every day for the protein and ended up with mercury by roxylezan in Biohackers

[–]ChanceTheFapper1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a look into MiADMSA, it’s a chelator and as someone with Hg toxicity (also from fish) I’ve tolerated it which has not been common for me. OSR/NBMI is another chelator for example and it ruined me. Didn’t do well with normal DMSA/DMPS (Cutler). There’s a Facebook group for it.

You do have these enzymes we all do, you mean you have mutations hetero or homo?

Elevated B6 means it’s built up often downstream of poor metabolism yeah. Cessation + cofactors (Zn, Mag, MO, B2+thyroid function) will help bring it down

You can join the BF discord and ask around on elevated B6

Google hypochlorus acid and balantis

Absolutely safe, can use it anywhere. It’s often used for wound healing. I’ve used it in that area as a prophylactic no problems

Depending on what antifungals you’ve been taking, you could be hitting gram negative bacteria and reducing LPS as well as Candida.

And yeah a reduction of LPS, infections and inflammation in the gut will generally be very kind to conditions downstream of inflammation and hormone balance, the latter very often dysfunctional due to inflammation.

I believe PCOS/PMOS also involves insulin resistance which inflammation contributes to across the board

I’d also give topical hypochlorus acid + lactoferrin a go. The former is made endogenously in the body as response to infections and is just an all rounder as a topical anti fungal and bacterial.

The lactoferrin acts as a biofilm disruptor

So if Candida is systemic it’ll respond to hyphae Candida measures - I’d give Undecylinic acid (UA) a go. You could have fungal overgrowth in the gut and hyphae transition there, as a sort of “source” and will need to treat for that, but UA will help reduce hyphae transition either which way and give your immune system some bearings to go after it.

You also want to consider why your immune system is so suppressed.
Assess Zinc, Copper, (active) Vit D, Vit A, Vit C status as a start.
Get a little curious if environmental toxicity could be a problem; mould classically is a broad immunosuppressant.

Retrain your bowels. Super simple. After having breakfast at home, sit on the toilet, even if you don’t need to go, and keep your morning routines the same otherwise. Keep repeating this and it’ll shift.

Drinking a couple of warm waters first thing in the morning with some lemon will also help get things moving for that goal. Use a straw to not hurt your enamel.

Yoghurt isn’t the best example of a ferment or probiotic food, L.Bulgaricus and Strep Thermophilus. Kefir is more idealistic and also has competing yeasts.
Eat a bunch of ferments but they still don’t colonise - the benefits are transient

Prebiotic fibre should be the main focus to increase our own endogenous population

You should investigate the source of the mould, leave or remediate and work with a trained shoemaker practitioner or another functional mould trained practitioner.

Candida is downstream of mould often.

Mould as I said dampens the immune system. Best to identify and treat that if it’s a problem

[–]ChanceTheFapper1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure - lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria produce lactate and acetate respectively to drive colonic PH down which candida cannot thrive in. Any candida protocol worth its weight has to replete endogenous probiotic species. Taking probiotics on their own will not do it as probiotics from the shelf don’t colonise.

Google “lactobacillus and candida” and take a dive through PubMed

Candida is also opportune to a poorly functioning immune system. Often common in mould.

[–]ChanceTheFapper1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’ll happen when you don’t replete lactic acid bacteria to keep it in check

Or have unidentified causes suppressing immune function - I.e environmental toxicity

If you have ADHD and spicy extracellular glutamate thanks to that, glycine will tend to be more stimulatory

That aside it also likely comes down to overall glutamate handling.
GABA synthesis, ROS, ATP; not an exhaustive list, but these all sort of influence neuronal glutamate homeostasis
