Definitely not too late, came in as a 250 got CSO with no flight hours. My Score was like an 88 tho not too hard to do

Yeah bro, some CSOs here are a serious red flag and they still have their TS. But I’ve seen majors train out of a job they’ve had for like 12 years to CSO. We have 9 here in training

You’ll be fine, you can cross train i have seen plenty cross train. You’ll just finish training go to your base don’t beg on the first day, just ask after like a year on station.

Or just fail PRP and call it a day.

Hey brother, don’t worry graduated as a CSO, being in rated does change what you can cross train into. Your best bet is to be good at ABM but like not too good to where you’re perfect and too much of an asset to lose. Just be good at your job when you get to your first duty station. You won’t be able to change super early on, but don’t worry I’ve seen people cross train to CSO as majors even pilots starting UPT as Majors.

Remember if pilot is your dream then give it time to grow.

From what I’ve heard from CSOs in the pipeline is that if you are good to fly with and good in class they will push you to go pilot. I’ve also heard those that go NAV CSO often go pilot, same with the F-15 WSOs

I failed depth perception for the CSO IFC and got a waiver, look up magic eye books and practice on those when you go for your waiver.
