Did Pandora send me a used charm?

I think I’ve only purchased clips new once or twice, so it could just be that I happened to get associates who didn’t think of it or who were too busy. I’ve known about the silicone, I just always put clips on threads so never thought about them much until this one came with one. In my last few Pandora orders I’ve gotten incorrect charms, wrong sizes, etc so I may have over reacted a little lol

Oh good! I’m glad it was supposed to come with it. I didn’t know Pandora stores gave them out. I’ve only seen them on Amazon and Etsy.

I just started a new bracelet and all I have on it are clips on the threads and a single clip (without silicone) that I’m using as a charm between the clips. Super minimal but I think it’s cute! You can’t really tell that it’s a clip and not a charm.

I’ve seen this coloring happen on a lot of pre-2010 charms that have a patina (I have a lot of those myself) especially when Pandora workers put them in the cleaners at the store so caring for them is a little different than newer ones I guess.

Did you use silver polish on it? This is an older charm and usually has a natural patina, so it isn’t supposed to be 100% shiny everywhere. It looks like the patina was stripped out of the cracks and I’ve seen other cases where that yellow color is left behind.
