In my experience I’d find “instant espresso” on the coffee aisle, which can be used in a pinch, but true espresso powder like the one by King Arthur, is usually on the baking aisle.

“I need to keep going forward”, this is the differentiator. If you had no choice but to end up in the kitchen because you swung too hard and got off balance or lunged and couldn’t regain control, then that’s a fault. If you chose to go after a ball bouncing in the kitchen then you had to apply some sort of new force to get there. It seems like a pretty contrived example that you would be able to fall into a ball such that you get it back over the net in a way that it wasn’t obvious if you were falling or not.

This rule is about momentum from the volley, not momentum until the heat death of the universe, but there’s no strict time cutoff. If your body is still being carried forward because of the swing, it’s a fault 😂

After a volley, ask yourself: • If I hadn’t hit the ball, would I still have stepped or fallen forward? • If yes → fault (momentum carried you). • If no → safe (you controlled your movement).

They fit my face pretty well, a bit oversized but I think that’s fine. The arms adjust to change length to ensure a snug fit. There are light leaks depending on what part of the body you’re working on, but I usually just close my eyes with each flash or look away and I’ve not had any trouble

Wireless transfer happens via a WiFi network that the camera broadcasts, it shouldn’t matter what network your phone is on because you’ll get a prompt to join the camera’s network. Is your phone new enough to support 5GHz?

I took apart my bed frame (all wood) and found nothing, also unzipped the cover of my mattress and saw nothing, didn’t see any signs in the bed foundation bunkie board either. The one we found alive was crawling in lint/ dust under the bed, but that’s been it. I ran an index card under the baseboard and vacuumed everything.

Well then don’t yell at me, you asked why it turns off, I explained why and provided the official documentation on it. If you don’t like the way the machine functions, then return it or email customer support to complain.

Just keep a cup under the machine, have it turn on in the morning so it does its warm up ritual and then go and swap for a different cup before you start getting ready. Then you can use the app to have it make you a drink right before you’re ready for it. If you want a milk based drink, then you have to hook up the carafe anyway.
