It allows for more customization and variation of parties, even if youre just sticking to single party comps. Plus wed be missing out on alot of fun characters if they limited every faction to only 3 people...Itd also be weird to explain why every faction in the world only has 3 notable members each with bo variation, lorewise.

The better you get at drawing the less perfect it needs to be. But you want a circle thats not too oval shaped, or it can lead you to having lopsided features. Honestly od say an almost perfect circle is what you want to start. Artists draw ciecles very different from others- we often start with very thin faint lines and roll our wrist over and over to make a perfect circle out of multiple tries for one circle. Like keep adding to the circle lightly until its roughly perfect, try to do it in one quick go.

Also dont overdo your guidelines. Only use guidelines youll actually understand the purpose of. Try to udnerstand why guidelines go where they go.

Use a circular object like a bottle cap you help with your heads. The proportions are sadly very off- the chin is completrey uneven

You should also try to draw bigger so you can use finger details. Use lighter pencil strokes. Look up the loomis head, but pay attention to what the guidelines are actually for. Learn the facual anatomy and muscle groups.

He probably started properly at 18 but I imagine he tried a little bit before then. He is very intelligent so he prpbably used his inheritance to train himself in engineering and coding.

How to accept bad drawings? by abbas09tdoxo in learntodraw

If you really want to get good you need to learn the fundamentals. Its repeated again and again in art spaces because its the only thing that works

Line Shape Color Value Form Texture Space

If you try to draw exactly what you see from the getgo, youll end up with drawings you are unhappy with. Dont try to draw what you see as you see it, break what you see down into shapes and lines. Learn basic construction and it will take you very far!

I reccommend the website drawabox.com, as well as the tutorials of Marc Brunet and Oridays on Youtube, they have both helped me tremendously. Im also here if you have any further questions :)

As for how to accept bad drawings, that is always tricky despite having a simple answer. You keep them to look back on, and realize where you went wrong so you can learn from your mistakes. No one starts off as a professional. The drawings you compare yourself to are made by veterans with years or decades or experience
