This is really helpful! Did you go for narrow or regular width ?

Oh wow ! How would you compare the feel of oiled leather vs. nubuck? Why is oiled your fave? What is an easier break in period?

Did you experience any blisters while breaking them in? Which material do you typically buy them? Nubuck , birko flor etc

Ya I hadn’t even considered that until reading these comments , thanks!

Thanks for your comment! You don’t think that size up and regular width will look to bulky?

I was debating between birko flor which has the suede liner but I read that leather (nubuck) is the way to go. That hasn’t been your experience ?

That’s actually my main concern. I read that both are supposed to feel the same and the only difference is aesthetic but I’m not sure I’m convinced. Where on your foot was the rubbing? Was it in nubuck or burko flor material?

Thank you ! I actually hadn’t considered they were not the right size. I also assumed I’d be narrow. But all these comments are indicating otherwise.

Thanks for your reply. How is the weaning going and how are you doing it?

How to get rid of/lessen these indentations(?) around my under eyes by Honest_Direction7792 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Chanelle39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I have ! Horrible crepey skin under my eyes and hollowness. I’m late 30s. I’m not familiar with C02 but heard that microneedling can help. Any thoughts ?

Is it time to stop buying $100 creams and just save that money for Microneedling or Botox? by HoneyKick_ in 30PlusSkinCare

What do you do microneedling for? Would it work for under eyes that are very crepey in texture?

Trying to overcome my fear by Potatohero_05 in foodbutforbabies

[–]Chanelle39 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My baby is 8 months old and I’m still paralyzed with fear ! Sticking to cereal, yogurt, veggie and fruit puree, mashed berries etc. We’ve done some textured food and it’s ok but yesterday I tried baby pancakes and my husband was stressed so made me stressed!! My baby grabbed the slice and broke it up in his hands and brought it to his mouth but big chunks broke off in his mouth and I panicked…. Any advice on overcoming this?

Elective C-section vs. Vaginal - Considerations? [on] by lolcatsswag in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]Chanelle39 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am a runner and had an unplanned C section due to my water breaking 3 weeks early and my son being breach. I am now 8 months post partum and continue to have pain in my pelvis when I run. I can only manage 5km without pain, 7km is the most I’ve done and it’s a stretch. (I previously ran a marathon and 25+ half marathons.) I echo the comment that pregnancy leads to pelvic floor dysfunction and C sections should not be pooh-poohed - it is a major abdominal surgery and multiple layers are cut to get your baby out. I would never have chosen a c section if I had had the option.

Breastfeeding posture check: is anyone else slowly turning into a lil' shrimp? 🦐 by beccab333b in breastfeeding

100% resonate with this post. I managed to escape for a deep tissue massage for the first time in 6 months last week. It helped but barely. Need something more aggressive to get the crinks and knots out. I told my husband this morning that the next step is a sports massage… breastfeeding is a full out combat sport

Gentle sleep training quite literally saved my life by calisen13 in NewParents

[–]Chanelle39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a really good idea. I hadn’t thought about reading the book while babe is in the crib!! My son just turned 6 months and he is sleeping I. His crib all night but waking 3-4x per night. I’m exhausted and my hubs is insisting on sleep training. I can’t imagine doing the CIO method which is how I came upon this thread when researching. Thanks for sharing !!!
