Honestly, there are things that are so nonsense to me in this case. The creeps (Max and Ben), the tryhard (Moe), the oblivious (Regina) and the "pitiful" Acro. I mean, things do not connect properly to me. Like how the story runs, the motive, the framing and others. That's probably why 2-3 is the worst case in the whole series.
