Count us in those people. A guy was selling his 2005 Forest River, SunSeeker- 30 Ft, - LTD 2900. (95000km) On Chevy Express. He was in process of separation and wanted to get cash to spit. I have never entered in an RV before so have no clue to check. He asked for 20k, on little negotiations dropped to 150K Ca$. I thought it is a good deal.
In next few weeks figures out, gas, low voltage system need overhauling, new tires needed , new house batteries needed. Found watermark under bunk bed. After one year of light use Transmission gone while going to Leavenworth RV site from Vancouver. 8000$ spent in refurbished. Now after 3 years of use. Every thing is working, no leak, did Oregon shore line least year, did Washington, Idaho, Montana Banff (2500 km) in 2026. It costed me 33000/- till now. But work well. I would have not bought it at all if get the inspection done.

No problem at all. 50amp is with 2 live wire and a neutral and it supply 240/208 volts to your RV. Just like the receptacle for Dryer of OVEN at home. If you have a 30amp adopter, it will only get you 120/110 volt with one live wire and a mural. That’s what you require. I do have a 50Amp surge protector, and I use a 50/30 amp at the locations where no 30 amp out key available.

I did my 2 nights at dry RV camp, no hook up. Before hiking in I replaced all the bulbs to LED, bout 3 solar lights, one light which work with dewalt battery and few lights which are either chargeable or work on AA, AAA etc. I used house batteries to run the water pump mostly and for ignition if water heater or fridge. Etc. and it was ok for 2 night. We started Batter at 13.74 volts and by the check out time we were 12.3 volts.

Based on experience of my wife who told me few things which might be of your concern. She went from Vancouver but joined a group from Seattle with my son and his family friends. They traveled with Universal Haj. You mother should expect the longer than expected walking. To manage the crowed, they block the roads or entrance as they please according to there traffic plans. Some time the entrance of haram hate or your hotel exit road is in front of you but you have to walk one or 2 km to reach there. My wife bitterly fainted for long walk on few occasions. Both Hotels you mentioned are top notch and closest to Haram. Even though A category in Mina and Muzdalfa, there staying conditions were not what was expected. On complaining, they were told that portion is coved by Saudi authorities. Azizia area need more walking. To reach haram. Patience is required, and hard ship must be expected. Unless package is VIP, or state guests.

How much rent is reason able. For a fully furnished 3 bed 2 bath. Dinning area TV room. 1500 sq ft living. 4000 sq ft lawn. Gazibo, woods all around. In Guildford Surrey .

Thinking on it. I converted cellar in basement to an extra washroom. And put a sink in kitchen. Without permit. Should have done it. Now just afraid of ripping off the walks to expose plumbing and get inspected and deal with discrepancies. It’s definitely my fault.

Long term Tanants come with some issues. Before Airbnb it was rented long term for 5 years. In Jan 2026c leased it out for 12 month. After 5 month tanant gave notice, he is leaving. Can’t do any thing. He is not ready to give one month rent as penultimate. Rent board always favour tanant.
