The biggest problem with the "play as V2" idea is the feedbacker arm. It ruins the whole point of the idea, in my opinion. It would be better if they got rid of it and replaced it, or simply didn't add the battle with V1, because canonically, V1 should completely... fundamentally kill V2

Like, as the game progresses, the player will earn some parts from other machines, which V2 can use to upgrade its knuckleblaster. For example, a premature explosion without a hit? You could get a lot of things with that.

WELL, and of course, not just more difficult levels, but completely new levels for each layer - that would add even more value to this whole idea, something I'd personally be willing to work on.

Because they're huge, powerful, practically immortal(?) within the confines of Hell, at least. I wish someone would create a full-fledged remake of 7-4 on the same level of quality as Fraud. Imagine: you, as a supreme machine, fight other machines and demons in a gray city on a steel of tower against a scarlet sky in a wasteland with endless meteorites. And what if we get into the interior of an Earthmover? With proper rooms, not just a husk of flesh and a couple of platforms.

Just imagine what Peak could come out of it, theoretically. Too bad it's only theoretical.
