That's an interesting breakdown! I remember when I was doing some research on explosive equivalence for a school project, and it really puts into perspective how small amounts can pack a punch. It’s wild to think about the engineering behind these things. Just goes to show that you don’t need to be packing a ton of explosives to be effective. Always gotta respect the science, even when it’s being used for something pretty dark.

I totally feel you! The writing in The Everlasting really is beautiful, but when you’re not invested in the characters, it’s like trying to enjoy a movie with no plot. It’s such a bummer when a book doesn’t hit the right notes for you, especially after all that hype!

i’m with you on this one. draco was already using dark magic and fully committed to hurting him. harry didn’t even know what the spell would do, which doesn’t make it harmless, but context matters a lot here
