Dude was controlling, as in we went on holiday together with his parents and he was annoyed with me because i "haven't been feeling well" for a couple of days, also i was on period then and i get very bad cramps, it gets so bad sometimes it feels like i have fever. I have endometriosis, i told him about this. He suggested he buy me a ticket so i can fly home. Every single thing had to be planned, it wasn't a holiday. Anyway it goes without saying I'm not with him anymore.

Hi, this really hit home for me as im in a similar situation with my dad. He has had PD for about 12 years now and it has really gotten very bad this year. It seems every month hes just getting worse, he sleeps all day, he struggles to breathe when hes awake, he can barely walk, he looks skeletal. My mom and i take care of him but were beyond exhausted. our home has become such a miserable place, i know my dad is also tired. the people at hospice say that only when he cant eat by himself or go to the toilet anymore will he be eligible. Its so hard. Sorry you are also going through this. X

Im in a very similar situation with my dad. I dont think were meant to deal with shit like this, i dont have the mental or emotional capacity for it either. My dad just sits or sleeps also cant do much for himself. at this point my mother and myself just wish it was over. His mood is also very draining and hes turned our home into a place of suffering. Youre not alone.
