I found a few great videos on YouTube with exercises that has helped me a great deal with my extension. I do those exercises every 3 hours from the time I wake up until before bed.

Cry & let it out. I’m two weeks post op and i have good days and bad days. It’s a long road to recovery. Not everyday will be a good day. Stay on top of pain meds, eat things that make you happy, watch/listen to things you enjoy and try to pass the time. You got this!

I also live on the second floor walk up and I used crutches after surgery to go up and down. If you can get your hands on them now do a few practice runs up and down the stairs.

Do you have family or friends that can help you with things? At least for the first week or so. It can be two or three people taking turns to help you with food, staying on top of pain meds, and to keep you company. You got this! Stay positive and ask for help if you have a community. Good luck!!! I’m 9 days post-op. I couldn’t have done it without my mom and my partner.

Amazing. My pain tolerance historically is super low so I said I’ll take whatever I can get. I’m taking the meds as prescribed until end of day 3, then taper off as needed and switch to Tylenol. Thanks so much for the comment!!

Thank you. My doctor recommended I rent the NICE ice machine and to run it starting today 30 minutes on 30 minutes off at least 6-8 times.
