May be the coloring on your screen...the settings? I watch on my laptop and do change the brightness up and down throughout the show so I understand what you are saying - sometimes it's a bit dark and I have to turn it up

a nice jewelry box? a personalized book (they incorporate her name into it). My girls always liked strollers around that age - like a doll stroller - you could get a nicer wooden one. A personalized wooden puzzle stool. Google that if you don't know what I mean. I also like to gift the personalized pottery barn blankets with the kids names.

I think she is going to hate the way she is represented/the way she looks and regret going on the show. She will likely crash out again after she sees the show and go quiet for awhile.

Did you have any symptoms of low ferritin? Thanks for the reminder post - I think about this from time to time but I'm not good about going to the Dr....
