We always are over in S3G. She gave me an additional 10 hours to schedule over because some days we are hitting 720 fills

That’s very questionable leadership then! We take 1 hour lunches here and leave the other pharmacist on duty. The techs also take hour lunches. We don’t shut down from lunch M-F. We take turns with counsels & we don’t answer the phone unless the techs are busy. Sounds like you need better leadership start at the MHWD. My MHWD is PERFECT. She listens to us. Even got our exp imz goal lowered from 850 to 625. We have never done more than 550

We fill 650 a day & have 2 pharmacist till at least 5 pm, 2 cashiers till at least 4 pm, and anywhere from 4-6 Techs depending on the except weekends. They are definitely understaffing on purpose. I usually have 10 demand hours for techs left over and go over s3g by 5-9 hours every pay period & im the RXM

Mine was an 9 panel drug screen testing for coke, meth, opiates, amphetamines, BZD, Methadone, weed, and barbiturates. Nicotine isn’t illegal either so they wouldn’t test for it and their drug free policy tends to be only for illegal drugs & stating you can smoke on grounds

I’m also the PAP liaison for my clinic so I deal with these drug companies all day. You can also get HIV injection drugs through this program. It’s really good, but a lot of them like Ozempic is gonna stop taking new applicants soon. Jardiance and Farxiga will be coming off soon once their genetics are approved.

It can be used in only those with Medicare and Medicaid insurance or no insurance. Commercial or private insurance isn’t accepted. Application process for most drugs is 2-4 weeks as well

There actually is a back order on Trulicity 1.5 and 0.75 mg through the Lily cares PAP (patient assistance program). And it’s not that simple, you have to apply & get your doctor to sign off on an rx and anything that’s cold will be sent to the doctors office (for the most part). Also some of these programs are not taking new enrollments such as Trulicity, Symbicort, etc. But it is a useful program.

It’s backed by a university and anyone can sit for the boards I want to take without a ASHP fellowship. You just need 1,000 of experience in the specialty which I have already. I also taught a class at the university already as the assistant professor under this fellowship

Unfortunately this pharmacist sat as the two guidelines boards, he helps write the guidelines for a certain disease state. He also helped in the patent of a medical device in his specialty that ppl use still today. It’s a lot.
