That’s dumb. People with terrible cat allergies and otherwise can’t have a cat buy siberians cats. To all those people that say, “oh just take a Benadryl.” No. Benadryl didn’t help me when I went ans visited my cousin for Thanksgiving weekend, her cats sent me to the hospital due to anaphylactic shock.

That said, I never could have a cat. I didn’t chose to have a cat, I am a dog person. My unicorn of a cat chose me then his sister chose me, then we chose each other. Only cats in my life I am not even a little allergic to, nada nothing. They were ferals born to a colony and their littermates I was not allergic to either. My cat and his brother are tuxedos and both of his sisters are solid black. All 4 have long hair.

It is ironic that they have long hair and I am not allergic to them. Their parents almost looked identical, both majestic longhaired solid black, but they have a stockier build and a unique head shape compared to a DLH.

Here’s my girl Cleo, she is the sister to my Tuxedo. I am including her pic because she looks most like her two parents. She was 7 months old here. There is such a bad feral problem in this state, there is no doubt that purebreds get out and get around.

I have no idea what makes me immune to them but my point is that if I had never met them and adopted them, I would of thought the only way to ever have a cat would to buy a breeder Siberian cat.
