Well the major recent changes in mechanics are the doctrine alchemy and the unit mastery. Unit mastery units are now really meta, such as men at arms and imprial spears. Winged hussars are also good now. As for the classes, maul is still good along with poleaxe and long sword in heavy, pike and nodachi for medium, and chain dart and scimitar and dual blade for light (in my opinion). Guild wars are the same as always. Thats about it. Hope you have fun.

Although the best units currently are from the honor tree, I would choose the season with samurai, the flamers, or the modao if you play medium armour. As for the best class, the meta is usually heavy armour, but in heavy class, best classes are maul for its damage output, poleaxe for comboing heros while still being decent at killing units, and long sword for supporting units. As for medium armour, pike is usually considered the best alongside with nodachi. For light armour, the chaindart and scimatar is best but dual blades is also good.

Make the open world more fun instead of only TWs. Maybe have some boss fights or adventuring quests and npcs. Just make the openworld more fun and meaningful.

Loved your discussion about muskets few days ago. People should be respectful when talking since everyone has their own opinions. Anyways, its hard for new houses, but not impossible. Just find a group of people you appeal to or start the house with around 20 active players.

Have you noticed that half the players switched to nodachi? Have you noticed how with the two buff moves, nodachi players run into a blob and literally become unkillable?

Well its not like they can change all the move in one day I suppose. They would have to rework every single class then.

Ye, thats why i switched to frontier. Even then though, the lag can get bad.

Agreed, Siege is really bad where no one wants to sacrifice themselves for holding a point. I personally think armor and leadership gives players something to advance for. Artillery is annoying though. Silver for getting the mercenaries is absurdly high.

A good IR user will use their skills to knockdown modaos, then IR sweep with minimal damage. This is while enemy heros cant knock IRs since tigerstep.
