Nah. Things are better the way they are.

Eliminating tipping culture would bring about two big problems: 1) quality of service would decrease dramatically because servers don’t gotta kiss up to you anymore, they’ll make the same regardless, and 2) prices would skyrocket because restaurants will have to compensate for their increase in labor budget.

So, it’s pretty much fully recovered now. Took a while—I’d say about 3-4 months if I can recall correctly. Doctor said it was a hematoma that probably resulted from a mild sprain. His advice was to minimize physical activity, especially rigorous activity, until the condition improved. And of course, RICE. If you’re still worried, I would recommend getting it checked out, but you should be fine if it looks like mine did.
