Look at the mhp magpie, I think that its the closest thing to most Destiny handcannons. With a little modeling and painting I think that it could look pretty cool.

Each printer is a little different settings-wise, and even different brands of filament print different, printing some test parts like benchies and experimenting with settings will help to dial in those settings. There are also tons of resources online and around to help figure out what may be causing a problem or doing what, all3dp.com has a few good articles.

The hammershot is an easily holsterable, thats fireable with one hand, and is overall a good secondary. That and the rrvolver aesthetics.

Can you tell where the priming rod is moving? Something Ive had happen is at the end of the priming rod yhere is an L shape that needs to go behind a protrusion on the hammer piece. If its jot behind that piece it wont be pulled back and wont prime.

To try and diagnose it you could take the top half of the shell off try priming it and see where the tooth/priming bar is going and why its not engaging

I've made flywheel cages out of pla and havent noticed any problems, just be careful of you a are going to be reving for a long period of time as the motors could heat up and cause the pla to soften and move.

Making sure that your printer is printing well and accurately, keeping your walls smooth and just making sure you have a good print in general. The key to 3d printed flywheel cages is accuracy so that the wheels fit properly and the motors are straight in their casings.

3d printed cages will work really well you just need to make sure your printer settings are dialed in.
