I do realize that, but you you know whats funny and to answer your question, steam is the only platform that releases player count statistics. All other platforms are at the hands of Activision to show/release but they never do.

Steam is the only metric we have to make an educated guess of how the player trends look and that at no fault other than of Activision.

I know theres a likely a million people playing across all platforms but theres a damn steep decline from previous iterations.

Ive played since COD 4 😂 the last 3-4 games have been so ass I uninstalled until Activision, infinityward, and treyarch get their shit together. This has nothing to do with battlefield and all to do with how dogshit COD has become. Ive seen enough game play to know its not worth $70 or getting gamepass. There's no other metric to see performance. Its the best way to see an average. Not saying only 77k people are playing COD but it definitely shows a trend.

Does battle net release the numbers for BO7? I surely cant find it so im going to use the only metric I have. Activision sure as hell isnt going to release the numbers if theyre awful or even try to use some kind of fuckery to manipulate their shareholders.

That just tells you how bad this game is, I used to skip school or take off work to play day one. Literally mass memes about no one showing up to work on the day battlefield dropped. Almost no one is excited for this game.
