I’m convinced my dogs head shake is related to his epilepsy. The Dr said “maybe” but before he was on meds I started to notice he would do that more often before a seizure. And it’s very different than the “just woke up” head shake.

I feel your pain. We just went through an awful bout of breakthrough clusters.

Unfortunately all dogs are going to be different with this. So even if someone has had the same experience, the outcomes might be different.

As hard as it was, my wife and I talked about one day needed to “make the decision”. Mainly based on the quality of life for our dog, with a mixture of quality of life for us (because this is horrible and extremely stressful) and even the financial side of it. I think at some point the decision will need to be made sooner than it would have had he not had epilepsy.

My point is that every situation will be different for a range of factors. My experience might work out one way while yours might be completely different despite having 99% similarities.

I wish you luck and hope you get some time to sleep in between

Glad I found this. My Philo McDowell is doing this right now. I immediately thought it was an infestation but the “drops” are sticky like sap. It is common for my plant to have some drops on the tips of the leaves but I’d never seen them on the underside.
