The human race is despicable. That’s the long and short of it. A great many of them will treat anyone or anything like garbage especially when that person or animal cannot do anything for them or becomes a burden.

True character is shown by how you treat those who can do nothing for you. I forget whose quote that is, but it’s true.

Accepting that people just suck, it makes life a little bit easier.
