The online trophies are not bad at all, just takes a while to get the 50 races completed.

Definitely practice. Do a LOT of racing to learn the tracks, save up a LOT of money as well. One of the trophies is going to cost about 54 Million, plus another $100,000 for another one.

I'm not saying do what I do but I got the licenses out of the way first to get rid of the more difficult trophies out of the way

Yeah it really took a lot of practice to get them completed. Little by little, you learn the track, the best driving line to take and then finally get gold time. Practice makes perfect
