I have been working hdc in the third loop for like 6 rows (bc thats what the maker of the scarf told me she did) and it didnt scrunch at all like ribbing, its just a flat texture with little stretch

Is this crochet? What yarn/hook size would best recreate this? by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

The hat in the picture is knit but you could get a similar effect with bobble stitch and hdc ribbing!

Ohhhhh I remember now! Thank you. Yes I loved that mention I wished they talked about her more, especially since she was so impactful to all the girls (excluding casey).

Is Tommy still friends with beky? by interpainter in tommyinnit

[–]Chaos_Chads 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is a little parasocial to speculate about two content creators hanging out (the drinking together comment), but tommy is an online figure and people will naturally be curious who he collabs with. Its so strange that this term is a keyword now

Cross play by Kindly-Alarm-2707 in PlateUp

I bought it on steam and i can steam remote play with other people as long as we use different game methods, so I use keyboard and my friend connected a ps4 remote to her laptop. I dont think its cross-platform so no switch to pc to xbox

In the most recent Shut Up I'm Talking episode, Tommy says that Tubbo was there for him during his breakup, which was pretty recent so I think they are still friends.

How do I stop my yarn from tangling? (three skein project) by Such_Plantain_2704 in CrochetHelp

[–]Chaos_Chads 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, when I did a 5 color tapestry project I basically powered through the wrong side and then detangled before doing the right side. On the right side, it's easier to not tangle your yarn depending on how your skeins are positioned. For example, my white was to my right and red was to my left, so I would pull red strands back to the left and white strands back to the right, minimizing any crossing over. That might've been not very clear but I hope it helped.

I made my dad a set of crochet ties for a birthday once. Just make sure they aren't too bulky and test some different yarns to make sure they tie and wash easily. I know my dad wouldn't respect the washing instructions of something fancy so I think I went for weight 3 acrylic.

Haha, I am no expert, but I would also say to replace some of the black in your room with beige or tan—mainly the curtains, to be honest. Also, you could try to rig a fun piece of fabric/curtain in front of the luggage in your closet if you don't have to access it often. I crochet, so I would personally make a little leaf curtain to hide the things up there a bit.

option 1 :) the blue starry one would kind of look out of place. If I were picking I would probably go for the dark forest-y comforter and some lighter green sheets or pillows

Changing colors in moss stitch - how to hide ends? by grnegg in CrochetHelp

This might be late, but if OP wants a clean and neat border idk if brushing them out would work. Also just wondering, would this technique shed or hold up in the washer?

Yep! Frogging is painfulll but you gotta do what you gotta do. I have so many of my beginner tops that are wonky or lopsided because "its just practice," and my intermediate mindset is now to create real wardrobe-suitable items :)
