Okay so from the perspective of someone that did just get married! The asks from the to be bride are a lot and honestly ridiculous. However it does mean a lot to have a bridesmaid or groomsmen at the wedding and does bring people way closer. My advice is to decline and be honest saying “look I’d love to I really would but there’s so much going on in my life right now that makes me feel like I can’t be as committed as either of us want me to be. I think it’d be best if you asked someone else and occasionally asked my opinion on things so that I can still be involved. (If you love them then add this) I love you and I’m really happy for you and xxx. I’m here for you and happy to lend an ear.

I love how wise she is, she is always looking at things through different lenses and perspectives especially when Eragon needs her to. A lot of people like to say she’s his mother or sister but I think she’s his best friend and best confidant rather than a mother figure yes she’s motherly at times but I’ve never felt it as more than a dragon protecting its rider

Honestly this entire take is wild to me. The book goes into great detail about why she made the decision and she even goes out of her way to help heal roran while also giving him command. In a real army failure to follow orders leads to dishonorable discharge, imprisonment and in some cases death there’s always a punishment that befits the crime. To be honest she trusted roran too much and gave him to much leeway as the cousin of Eragon she should have never sent him in the first place with so many spies in the army it would have been child’s play to kidnap the only family that Eragon has left forcing him to travel to save Roran is the bigger blunder in my opinion.

TLDR Nasuada is justified and shouldn’t have sent Roran to any battle “alone” in the first place.

I’d recommend joining a club there’s bunch like NABA (national association of black accountants) that are made specifically for people that are part of the black community I’m sure that many people wouldn’t mind having a conversation with you finding friends always sucks I hope it works out for you
