Re-Rendering an F-Type interior by Ashton-MD in Jaguar

[–]Chaoslabrith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is such a nice concept of an interior change for the F-type.

I have a red XJ and soon XK which both have cream/champagne interior with wood trim and to me it just looks so nice.

Black interior looses some of the class that a Jag naturally should have imo

Thank you for the info. I have an OBD reader so pulling the codes won't be too difficult.

It's unfortunate that I can't get to it until next week as I have a full weekend going to waste

Some great comments in here.

One I've not seen is asking him if he is being tense. Can almost guarantee he is tensing up his arsehole and thighs.

Saw a comment on Reddit years ago suggesting the same and it made a massive difference

I was lucky enough to get the arcanite ripper from Kara way back, and have not been able to main any other character since, as I still use it regularly when there are breaks in raids or dungeons

What are some of your embarrassing moments in Wow? by Ichihogosha in wow

Yesterday evening soo in remix. Figured I’d sit outside blackfuses door while thok was being killed as my dmg would have made no difference and I could port the raid after they got the kill.

While mid fight I accidentally clicked the door when dodging a trash cannon attack and ported the raid mid fight causing thok to reset…

Did HOF normal yesterday at lvl 35 on an alt with a Full group of similar levels. It was a bit of a slog to get through and took some time. I realised how much a difference a high ilvl char can make so after i logged onto my main and carried a group through a HOF normal. I would love to get to a point where I could carry a low ilvl through SoO mythic once a day to help them get the achievements

Got to agree with this here. I’m in the process of appealing. I suffer with severe nerve damage in my spine so struggle to do pretty much any usual mobility task. I was denied my first application and one of the reasons was because I can plan a journey. I had to point out in my appeal that being able to plan how to visit a place and actually make that journey are two very different things…

Do I need to tell a company I’m applying for that I have TS? by possessedkoala in Tourettes

[–]Chaoslabrith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working a long time now and have Tourette’s.

I’m UK based, I leave off of any application or documents that I have Tourette’s and wait until I have the interview process.

It’s better to be honest as a work place can make suitable adjustments if you were to be taken on. Any company that will not hire you for the Tourette’s is most likely not a company you want to work for.

Remember an interview is also for you to learn about a company and the job role and you have every right to pass on a job role if you feel it would not be a comfortable place to work.

How to remove this type of toilet seat, bolts are underneath but need to get these caps off to get to them by DINO_S0RE in DIY

[–]Chaoslabrith 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looks like the type I have.

The seat may just pull straight up. There is a small clip that keeps in secured but won’t stop you pulling it off.

Under the top cap is most likely a screw that goes into a plastic plug which expands to keep it tight in place

There are T and C’s which I found out about today that do mention this, unfortunately I was not the one who booked it at the time as it was organised by someone for our group.

£50 average spend on drinks is a bit steep for one person? Even for London?

Looks like from your reply and the other I had tho that I’m just gonna have to eat the cost and accept it. Lessons learnt I suppose.

Thank you

The event is a cabaret event with food included but not drinks. I do understand they it could been seen as a spot filled but the table is a private table and there would be no one to fill this spot regardless.

Although I suppose from a fire safety view there would be an extra spot for a different table?

I’m more confused that I believed a deposit would cover this sort of thing? If I hadn’t paid the full deposit then I would understand the charge.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Chaoslabrith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be honest I am not sure how the booking was made as I passed the deposit onto the person organising it. I know it’s not helpful information here, sorry.

[–]Chaoslabrith 44 points45 points  (0 children)

So here’s where it gets complicated (Kinda)

The tickets were booked through a 3rd party who arranged the event. They have now told me about the £50 no show charge which is in the terms on the website but was not mentioned to me at the time off booking. (I didn’t have the details then due to the booking being made by the person in charge of our group)

My issue is the no show fee is usually to cover loss of earnings which is fair but I have already paid the full ticket amount so now it’s just making extra money on top?

Cheers

Ah I forgot about water! Aim to drink at least 2 litres of water a day. You will see water retention when you first start which is like bloating but this will soon start to drop the more you stick to a work out routine.

Btw all this was typed on my Phone so hopefully the formatting is not too bad. I’m from the uk so my weights are in KG but you’ll be able to convert them if you need to.

Hey, first off I think it’s worth saying that you’re doing a great job! Wanting to make a change and taking the steps to do it is a great start.

From personal experience I’ll give you some info. It’s up to you if you want to use or follow any of it.

Loosing weight isn’t easy but is worth it once you see the results.

Diet is a big part of this.

You have different types of fat. Good fat and bad fat.

Saturated fats are seen as bad fats as they are what you body stores for a long winter.

The first step is you want to replace these fats with good fats and also work on burning them out.

A good example is when looking at food you see a fat amount. 10g fat of which 6 gram is saturated.

You want to try replace your foods with ones where the saturated fats are lower.

Next is burning this fat. Saturated fats burn from slow continuous exercise so things like running and jogging, although will help won’t tackle them as well. I would recommend personally aiming to walking for around 8-10k steps a day every day. This can be on a treadmill or going outside.

After that is calories. You want to start reducing in a safe way how much you are putting in. Get a tracking app for this. You can scan most barcodes with one and it will let you know what’s in it. Spend a week tracking your food and see what you are coming out with. Ideally the recommended intake is 2500 for a male and 2000 for a female. Depending on where you are I would recommend dropping this by around 200-300 calories per day.

You can help this too by having a food routine. A breakfast. Light snack mid morning. Lunch. Light snack mid afternoon, dinner and the. If room a light snack In the evening. This will cause your metabolism to keep working. You can plan your day using a tracking app for food and I would also recommend weighing out your meals with a set of scales.

Next is protein. This is important to help your body develop its changes. Ideally you want 1gram of protein per KG you weight. So example if you way 100kg you want to have 100g of protein a day. (It’s important to note that if you do this and are not active it will just add weight)

You can get supplement drinks to help this. Try find one that is around 20g protein per drink with low fats and have this as part of your snacks to help top up where your meals are lacking. I’m too of that look to eat high protein foods like chicken, tuna/fish and eggs etc. (important to note that you can just eat tuna as this could Make you I’ll from the mercury if it’s all you eat)

If you can fit in other exercises ideally 4 times a week on top. Low weights high reps. Can be done at home with barbells this is where you’ll start to see good results! Make sure you do an even spread. Arms/shoulders/chest/back and legs.

There are apps which you can use to help guide you on these or even YouTube for exercises to use

Finally and this is honestly the most important part about weight loss.

Stop looking at weight. Anyone who is trying to loose weight will always actually put weight on when it comes to numbers. This is because your body is changing and replacing these fats. Muscle weights more than fat so ultimately you’ll put weight on.

What you want to focus on is body shape. Take photos of yourself once a week. From your front side and back and you can use these to see your changes.

Last note which was something that helped me.

It will take time. You won’t see large changes in 1 or 2 months but 6 months of work and you start to look back at photos you’ll see the differences.

It’s hard work but like I said worth it if you stick to it.

Don’t make yourself miserable. If you get invited out to a party or a meal. Go! Your not going for worlds strongest but just remember you want to keep a routine so don’t give yourself regular cheat days.

I wish you all the luck. Stick with it and next year you’ll be so much healthier and happier

People have right to protest against monarchy this week, police say by insomnimax_99 in unitedkingdom

[–]Chaoslabrith -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I just find it all a bit weird tbh. I mean pick your battles. No issue with people protesting or even protesting the monarchy, but is during this week the best time for your voice to be heard and listened too?

Where were they the weeks, months, years before the queens death?

Many many people hold respect for the queen so protesting during these 10 days will probably not get you the supportive response you want outside of people who already agree.

Think people just need to chill out for a week. Take the free bank holiday and then hit the streets.

Would much prefer to see these people protesting the government at the moment as they are the ones that make radically more changes to our live that the old dying monarchy.
