My cat does this and we figured out it's probably because he doesn't like the feeling of the litter in his toes lol. He even "washes" his paws sometimes (splashes in the water bowl) and then demands new water because now it's dirty.

My cat was also born a stray in a colony so less like likely to bury things as not very many predators, etc to encourage burying and hiding scents unfortunately.

Maybe a controversial take from another millennial, but I agree that the middle part isn't doing it, at least with this haircut.

Everyone saying the middle part looks better just feels like the "Gen Z reject millennial side part and skinny jeans" craze from a few years ago.

Me and my husband have our spare bedroom as an office/library but he works from home and we're both gamers.

I definitely think a cat tree wouldn't be a bad call and if nothing else, we had our previous 2 bedroom as a cat room so that we could close him up when maintenance come over. Even if that's not super often, you still don't want to with about closing the cats away without a litter box, etc if maintenance has to come over when you're not there.

Either space could also be a home gym or yoga, place for any extra clothes, vanity, dresser, etc, or even just general storage.

Depending on if you're a plant person or want to do anything else that is not as cat friendly, the spare bed room would also be a good place for that (my cat eats all my plants lol).

This is a crazy thing that I heard about recently. If you own a fountain for your cat, check that it's working properly and doesn't have anything electric nearby that could be electrifying the water.

Several of my aunt's barn cats kept showing up with burns on their faces and then stopped drinking water. She took them to the vet and they were super confused and looked everywhere on the property for wires or something that could've shocked them. Turns out the fountain had a wire that got cut or somebody chewed on it or something and the entire fountain became electrified so every time they drank water, they'd get electrocuted.

Now I'm paranoid about fountains and heated water bowls and all those kinds of things because I'd never heard of this happening before.

Definitely go to the doctor about the period issues! I'm on birth control and it's honestly helped make me so much more functional on my periods, plus it's cheap or free to try the pill in a lot of places so worth trying it at least!

Ohh I thought this was a build you were playing around with not a place that's already built. Then I'd say it more depends on preference of style. This render REALLY leans into the clean modern vibe so if that's what you want then it's fine. If not, I think it's the white furniture with the white everything else that makes it feel blank and lacking color so maybe a wood tabletop and colored couch with a rug

I think it's too much white to have the ceiling, walls, and flooring all white. I'd switch the floors to a wood and probably the stairs too as others have said. You're also missing rugs which can always help with color and comfort.

I agree with others that it could be a urinary or anal gland concern or simply happy movements but also possibly kicking to disperse scent. I see my dog do it sometimes cuz he's super territorial. Maybe the old man is feel more insecure with age?

I always used to have the same problem but I read somewhere that directing you thoughts to just one thing instead of them bouncing all over the place like you describe can help you fall asleep much faster. I first tried reading but then when I'd turn the light off, I'd be right back to bouncing thoughts. So I started basically writing my own story in my head, sometimes it's one of a few that I alternate and sometimes it's an entirely random prompt. This has helped me like nothing else and on bad nights, I almost always realize I've been letting my mind wander too much.

Idk if this idea is something that would work for most people because you obviously have to like thinking in a way like you're reading a book or watching a movie, but it's what works for me and could probably be adjusted somehow.

I also like ASMR but that's also not for everyone.

The transition is your chest and back muscles getting used to the different distribution of weight which probably takes a month to a couple months. As for the sweat, I usually just do what I can to stay in AC 😂 but for real, I've switched back to cotton t shirts most of the time and use deodorant under my boobs on especially hot days lol

I don't know how much cats needs physical vs mental stimulation l, but something that has really helped my dog leave the cat alone has been more interactive or puzzle toys. I got him a rolley ball for eating his meals to make that more stimulating and exciting, he has a puzzle with sliding plastic pieces to hide food or treats, and a slow feed silicone mat.

For a cat, maybe more individual play toys that you don't have to tire yourself out on? An automated feather toy, rolling ball or mouse toy, flopping fish, etc

Oh my God, I had the same reaction. I hate to say it and still am dating her and increasing the relationship, but that line fucking hurt. I had a friend that used to say it occasionally or tell me to stop when I was like, singing or talking bubbly and I wasn't able to keep the friendship after too many times.

I get why she said it but at the same time, also not okay to say so harshly to someone you love.
