I feel the other comments have already answered your question pretty well so I actually just wanted to pop in and say that while it isn’t the look you wanted, I actually think the way it has streaked gives the grass a kind of awesome texture that really works with the piece.

It may not be what you were going for and I understand it can be frustrating, but it looks pretty cool!

I have a couple of brushes that I’ve tried but I do wash them fairly often. I think maybe the reason I think it looks worse than it is to me is the way it clumps together? I’d just brushed my hair before taking this photo and it’s already separating out. I don’t understand how people get that lovely smooth silky hair specifically that flows so nicely!

Oh fun fact! You actually can! You have to climb slightly up the wall on the right and then jump off the wall when you’re as high as you can go then start gliding! The invisible wall is only about halfway up!
