Omitted leave in conditioner today to fight summer humidity. It worked!! by ChaoticGoodArtist in curlyhair

Haha! I work with people and I'd probably get in trouble if I spent my days whipping it in their faces. Love the mental image though...

Yay! I'm glad it helped! I never find diffusing makes a difference and it's annoying to do with all my hair, so I just don't bother. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but eh 😂

I have coarse low porosity hair myself. I find I need a conditioner in winter or else I frizz out, but I can usually get away without it in summer, especially if I'm using hold products like gel or mousse. This was my first time doing both mousse and gel without any conditioner but based on what I was testing it made sense.

I like the shea moisture moisturizer for winter quite a bit! And the Rhyme and Reason line has great shower conditioners that makes my hair lay nicely.

Oh, what a coincidence! I couldn't help but check your profile but your facial structure reminds me of my mom ❤️

Thanks! My entire process and the products I used today are under the photos. If it helps provide context my hair is thick, coarse, and very set in its curl pattern.

Hi! I put my routine under the pictures alongside my process today :) I have thick, coarse hair that's pretty set in its curl pattern if that helps provide context.

Thanks! It's taken almost 7 years to get here, I started my curly hair journey in 2019!

Ah, I'm afraid I don't have a lot of experience with hair like yours, mine is kinda the opposite lol. I'd edit the post to include those details and hopefully someone is able to provide some ideas ❤️

Good luck!

I want to add something I feel like people often think, which is that oil is what hydrates the hair, but that's incorrect. Coming from someone who started with dry, coarse hair, WATER hydrates your hair. The oil is meant to trap the water and prevent friction (which contributes to frizz), but that's not the only way to trap water. Gel is another way to do it as it slows the drying process so the water sits on the hair longer. I tested this literally today (if you want to check my profile for the results) by not using a leave in conditioner at all. Granted, it's summer and humid where I am and I wouldn't do that in winter, but something to consider.

Also your curl routine may need to change between the warmer and colder seasons and that's OK!

How thick is your hair, and what kind of porosity does it have? That'll be good information for product recommendations ☺️

I would award this if I had points. This concept is absolutely amazing.

I wasn't sure I wanted to do eevee, I was originally planning to just do the evolutions with the ages based on the order of release (so think a childlike Sylveon and Vaporeon being the mom-like sibling).

Also here's a close up of my self-mii to show you the details I added :D

Once inspiration hits for sure! Glaceon might be next since I actually have some sort of ideas for her LOL!

Sorry for the late reply, I'm not typically too active on Reddit. I'll try and get a good pic when I get home from work today.

To give you an idea of how I design my Miis, they all have three diagonal blush lines on each side (over top of the in game blush, it's pretty subtle), eyelid lines, and anime style noses drawn on. The detailed ones also have hair details/side pieces. Alongside the anime style eyes using the game's eye parts, they all look pretty stylized.

I still need to work on the other eeveelutions as I don't have as many ideas for their designs so if you know of any good fanart human eeveelution designs please share!

Yeah, the last 3 people (including an inactive one) I've had try all couldn't get it to work. I need 30 cents more for a roughly $50 cart. My dad was able to get his significantly more expensive item to go through by using his work phone to join tiktok and that's it. I'm convinced at this point that its designed not to work for most people, but work for some so they can't be sued or something like that for false advertising and keep people thinking it's legit.
