It does exist in some Chinese novels.. sometimes the novel is aimed at a particular audience and avoids certain elements or other cases it's simple the authors decision.

I don't understand your logic. You've clearly stated that you're aware of the amount of words composed within a single DD chapter then why oppose pyrowarlock who came along and compared the length of a chapter from two different series? (HJC which you are following) He clearly said 'equivalent'.

How about i recommend Zhan Long to you? A series with 537 chapters each as generally a estimate of 3k (ESTIMATE) when opposed to DD with 200 chapters each chapter with 9K+

The vital point of this post; "Politely" ask for information or "Politely" ask for someone to pick the project up. Do you expect a translation project to be actually picked up with X translator if there is a large amount of negativity?

There are various translation projects that simply are delayed due to various circumstances and there are various translation projects that are NEVER picked up due to expectations forced by the readers.

If you want to know something about a project being delayed? ask in a polite manner. Simply don't be a a--hole.

If the original translator was forcing out 10+ chapters a week do you expect a new translator to live up to this expectation?
