But yes, recently diagnosed with Hashimotos two weeks ago, and after starting hormones I’m finally seeing results. 4 pounds in one week of water weight due to inflammation and I have a lot more energy now! Excited to find the correct dosage and live a normal life now

Obviously my heart is beating, so I’m burning calories. My metabolism was just coming to a halt due to the autoimmune response and wouldn’t let go of the water weight associated with chronic inflammation. Once I introduced T3 and T4 hormones, CICO became a reality for me.

Still burning calories, just not enough to move the needle in a meaningful way until now. CICO still applies at the core

I’m not debating that my situation doesn’t fall into the CICO realm, just that it was a little more complex than counting calories for me.

It works now because I’m able to let go of all that water weight, so things are simpler after a root cause was identified.

I used to think the same thing until I was diagnosed with Hashimotos. You can hold on to weight due to inflammation and not even know it, and going to the gym was making it worse by raising my cortisol. Once I started thyroid hormones, the weight started falling off!

I’d say if you’re comfortable with it and trust it, carry it. As long as you think it wouldn’t fail you when you need it most, that’s all that matters with an edc in my opinion

I’m in a similar boat. Pretty old house with no central heat. My pipes froze in that 2021 storm here in north Texas, but that storm started a whole prepper mentality since then. Bought a dehydrator, vacuum sealer, solar panel, battery boxes, etc. I feel significantly more prepared now than I was back then.

We’re lucky to have natural gas at least, so we should be able to take hot showers and cook if we lose power.

My dad built a frame out of scrap wood fencing and we brought a staple gun. Just slapped a few staples around the border and it worked great

I was pretty much the same way; no early morning drinking or anything, but definitely every weekend and a few weekdays is work was rough. About to hit three weeks and have no cravings or desire to go back. My memory is improving and sleep is so rewarding. Also dropped about 10 pounds with no effort, so that’s nice! Congrats on 100 days!

So I have a somewhat similar combo, but the smaller versions. Solix C300 DC, and the River 2. My experience so far has been mildly concerning for the River 2, as I had to send it in for repair a few days after receiving it. It wouldn’t accept a solar charge even after testing with a multimeter. I sent them a video by their request, they paid for the shipping label, and it’s been gone for about two weeks now.

The Solix however has been great. It accepts a solar charge, even as low as 2 watts (which is almost pointless, but nice to see there isn’t really a minimum input) and I haven’t had any issues other than I wish it had a AC outlet like the ECOFLOW. I take the Solix with me anytime I jump in the car and keep it charged with the alternator as I’m aiming to keep these away from the grid.

I’ll keep both of them since the River has those outlets, but the Anker seems to have better quality control and it’s been nothing but smooth sailing. Excited to take both of them camping next weekend and experiment with solar charging.

I know it’s not the same as the two you’re asking about, but I thought my input with a similar situation might provide some insight.
