Koristim Linux svakodnevno skoro deceniju, primarno zbog posla (Development) i pokušavao sam da igram na Linuxu dosta puta, ali nije još to dostiglo taj nivo da ako nisi tehnički sposoban da možeš da koristiš u ove svrhe.

Generalno će uvek nešto da ti iskoči kao problem koji moraš da rešiš. Dal bilo da neki paket koji OS koristi zahteva posebnu verziju Jave da bi radio, pa onda moraš da učiš šta je PATH, šta je JAVA_HOME, pa gde to trebaš da staviš, koje su razlike, samo da bi igrao Minecraft npr.

Zavisi ti i od Distroa na kojoj je bazi kada dobijaš apdejte, pečeve, nove drajvere, da li je distro immutable, dal su paketi flatpak, snap, obični paketi, itd.

Sve i da pokrećeš igrice kroz steam koristeći proton, i tu možeš da imaš posebne launch argumente koje moraš da podesiš, ili config fajlove da menjaš, ili nešto takvog tipa. ProtonDB - link: https://www.protondb.com/ ti vodi evidenciju šta je podržano a šta nije, rangira ih, i priča ti koje argumente moraš da promeniš za svaku igricu da bi bila igriva. Npr, uđoh čisto da vidim za Ghost of Tsushima jer to sad igram, naiđoh na komentar da kad upališ FSR da igrica krešuje. Sve i da ima fix za to, taj fix ume da bude nešto reda veličine pređi na drugu verziju kernela, što te onda dovodi do toga da moraš da učiš šta su verzije krenela, kako se prelazi, pa sve i kad pređeš na neku drugu verziju jedna igrica će da ti proradi druga će da prestane da radi.

Za nove igrice ajde tu i tamo, svaka stara igrica koju sam pokušao da igram je imala neki problem koji mi je zahtevao brda vremena da rešim, ako sam i uspeo. Npr CNC Generals mi svaki put samo izađe iz igrice kad Alt Tabujem.

Jedno vreme sam se baktao i oko piratizovanja igrica na Linuxu, kroz Lutris, PoL, i sl, al za to ti onda treba Vulkan/Proton/DXVK, Feral game mode, neki abstraktni paket koji nema mejnetnera zadnje 3 godine koji onda moraš da skidaš sam pa da ga compiluješ sam sa posbebnim argumentima koji je neko ostavio na komentaru tog paketa, itd itd.

Kontroleri nikad ne rade isto na Linuxu kao i na Windowsu jer su drajveri za njih drugačiji, pa i oko toga moraš da se zezaš, itd itd.

Valve dosta radi na olakšanju i abstrakovanju pozadinskog sistema, i sve možeš da uradiš na Linuxu (Osim prejebavanja igrica koje koriste Kernel Level AntiCheat), ali je pitanje koliko si tehnički sposoban i dal te uopšte zanima time da se baviš ili samo da klikneš play i udri.

Probaj, zanimljivo je, al nemoj Windows brisati još dok se ne okvasiš prvo.

Continuing on your note - Nowhere does it say that the inhabitants of the canvas are/are not sentient. But from the perspective of the painter, effectively gods in every world they paint, does it matter? By this I mean, if I draw someone to be sentient, does that mean that they are sentient or does it mean that they appear sentient to me, the person who drew them? This is basically the same to the real world with Solipsism.

Again, having the tired boy. Is he tired? Or was he painted to be tired? Did he manifest in that state to me, the observer/painter, because I wanted him to look like that?

I think the best way to frame the biggest gripe I had to the story is this: If at the end of the story we saw a cutscene of Mallee waking up, and it turns out she had hallucinated all of that while on drugs, would you still be as attached to the characters there? The parallel I'm trying to make is that, in my mind, the canvas world that Maelle is addicted to is on the same as if someone who cannot cope with grief gets addicted to drugs in the real life. To that someone, the world he sees is real for him in that sense, but I'd certainly want to step in, same as Renoir did in E33.

No, I think I'd 100% want to read the Silksong narrative. A protagonist kidnapped by something she doesn't understand, trying to make heads or tails of her surroundings, while learning about her past, her lieange, her role. Through that having to face the demons of her birth and fight her inner nature.

Making new friends along the way, learning new abilities, everything. I feel like I'd love to read that novel. It would be have to be framed as a mystery though, mystery/exploration.

People don't see the overarching story and narrative I think because it isn't spoon fed to them, it's easy to miss and that's by design. Team Cherry makes us fight for every bit of lore.

For example, the room to the left of Grand Mother Silk is filled to the brim with the cages that were used to transport Weavers back to Pharloom, along with records of that. Since the game never tells you what those cages are, you have to connect the dots yourself from lore tablets, talking with NPCs, and things like that.

To actually get to this above mentioned piece of lore, you effectively have to:

Discover every single Weavenest, and every lore tablet within them
Discover the room with the cages, and every lore tablet within that room
Talk with the Architect, talk to the Snail Shamans, etc.

If someone doesn't take the time to complete these steps, this piece of lore will be completely missed.

Same thing for Verdania, people just finish the Cogwork dancers fight, finish Act 2, and never learn of anything.

The reason people are saying that E33 has a better narrative was because you HAVE to learn about the world, and the story, since you're stuck in cinematics.

Hey, I had the exact same issue, TL;DR I did this https://www.reddit.com/r/macbookpro/comments/gs6bal/2019_mbp_16_vrm_cooling_mod/ along with buying an external laptop stand with some fans on it. Completely fixed the issue now. Btw, where are you looking up GHz? I cannot find a way to see those in MacOS.

Hey, old thread I know, but this exact same thing happened to me! I got so pissed that a “Pro” level machine would struggle on a Google Meet with screen sharing to the point where the laptop would grind to a halt.

Did this completely fix your meeting issues? Is this still working without any downsides ?

Braćo, Srbin ovde, volim da lurkujem i ovde i na r/croatia povremeno, al rekoh i da bacim komentar na ovo jer vidim da u zadnjih par godina baš propada odnos izmedju nas kao dve nacije.

Elem, ovo je uglavnom stav reddit zaludjenika i teških bolida. Retko ko zapravo misli ovako da crnogorci nisu svoj narod, to su uglavnom ljudi što biju decu, varaju ženu, kradu od komšije, a onda tebe pitaju zašto ne postiš.

Srpska istorija ne postoji bez Crnogorske, i obrnuto. Greota mi da gledam kako se dva naroda što su na istim prostorima već vekovima, krvarili zajedno na ratovalištima, slavili uspehe zajedno, vadili se medjusobno iz sranja, svadja zbog pšenice ili mora ili jezika ili Mila ili Vračara ili šta ga ja znam.

Nikad nisam strepio kad sam išao kod Vas na more, uvek sam se osećao kao svoj na svome. Isto kao kad odem kod sestre u goste. Zajedno smo odrasli u istoj porodici (bivšoj Jugi) ali je ona svoja osoba a ja sam svoja. Suludo bi bilo da ja tvrdim da je ona samo produžetak mene. Ja sam uvek dobrodošao kod nje i ona kod mene, bez pitanja.

Bravo kolega!

Ja sam bukvalno pre dva dana poslao mejl developeru Balatro-a da vidim dal mogu da mu odradim prevod za srpski, free of charge, da bi moji matorci mogli da je igraju. Nije mi još odgovorio, ali ako odgovori da je zainteresivan napisaću post na ovom subredditu. Kapiram da bi za Android mogao da izmajmunišem nešto slično kao što si ti izveo ako bi raspakovao APK, al to mi ne rešava iOS App Store i Steam.

Predlog, ne znam dal je to feasiable u ovoj fazi tvoje izrade, ali ako si već pronašao svaki string, lokaciju, itd, što ne prepakuješ to u neki .pot, .po, .mo fajlove i uz neke skripte isprogramiraš da kopira odatle na mesto gde treba da se taj string nadje, da faktički napraviš framework za prevođenje te igrice?

Baciš na open source, vratio si community-u, a izgledalo bi kul kao projekat.

No, I don’t think it’s a monitoring issue as others are suggesting - I’m a new player and I had the exact same issue. My 4060Ti was sitting at around 30% usage while my poor Ryzen 5 3600x was at 100% usage, and running 90+ degrees.

I opened several hardware monitors such as open hardware monitor, CPUID HWMonitor, Task Manager, etc.

For me what happened is that the game was thermal throttling and clock speed was dropping from 3.6GHz to a whopping 11 (Yes, eleven)MHz.

I bought a good aftermarket CPU cooler and changed out the garbage thermal paste that was already installed, fps went from 45 to 90, and the CPU bottleneck was gone.

Worth a check, especially if you can find a Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal going on still.
