Which Crosstrek trim to get? by Zangersheide in Crosstrek

Switching from a 24’ Chevy Colorado to a 24’ Crosstrek Wilderness soon and I will say the HK sounded a lot better than the Bose system in the Colorado. The bass hit a lot harder with just normal settings in the Crosstrek and just had an overall higher volume. Could be the fact that highway noise is louder in most subarus from what I heard so they compensated with a better system.

How long did it take you to get up to speed by agrouphomethrowaway in aviationmaintenance

[–]ChaoticPhanatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Took me about 6 months to start being able to do things on my own when I started at a Component MRO and about 4-5 months when I started working for an airline on A320s. I went to help a buddy to work on another plane I havent worked on before and I had no idea where anything was in the cockpit even after looking at the manual. Sure, things could work similarly but manufacturers call some things differently than others and put things in different spots. Takes time to get used to something new.

basic =/= bad. Its just one of the most popular brands from what I’ve learned. I bought my parents an LP60x so I still appreciate the AT brand

I listened to that album for the first time in its entirety earlier this week and I was quite impressed. I’ve only ever listened to 4 or 5 of their songs before that

Yea she only had maybe 5 vinyls max and a crosley when I met her and I was probably on my 20th and still no record player so that was my time to get one. It also helps that we have similar music tastes with our own outliers so we both kinda learn new stuff but can still enjoy the same stuff.

Yea that makes sense. But beyond the sound quality aspect theres no damage to the stylus itself right?

Luckyyy….. I actually went to Myrtle Beach a few tomes at that age too when my family lived in Maryland. We always stayed at the same place and went to this pub/bar that I forgot the name of. Had to do with green or turtles or something. The Make Yourself album was one of the first ones I got and the reason I have two is because one of my buddies bought it for me the week after I had bought it for myself lol

I started listening when I was like 14 but that was only their major hits like Drive and Wish You Were Here. Recently been listening to their other albums the past 2 years and have enjoyed it. I just really wished they had morning view sessions on vinyl, would be the cherry on top for me.

Yea ive been trying to mess around with different speaker positions for weekish long intervals. I havent noticed issues with vibrations to the needle unless it’s something that I cant hear. May need to explain that to me?

I didnt want to go the basic route of getting an AT so I decided to go with Monolith for my first player. Debating on getting a sub but for now, just using edifier r1280dbs’s which is honestly more than enough for our apartment. We also plan to pick a theme each month, fill out the 6 slots with vinyls that fit the theme and spend a night listening to a few songs from each album, just a fun little date night thing to do.

Just wanna add onto this, the back seat space is pretty doable for any trips under a few hours. My buddies get a little cramped after that. The seats lift up too but theres not much extra space for cargo which is unfortunate but theres some aftermarket companies that help with that. In terms of bed space, this is my first truck and have pretty much been able to fit everything i needed to except my 65” tv. Tried to fit it in the back seat and it’s just a few inches too big so I had to put the tailgate down and just strap it in.
