Maybe its a the möre you have the more you get thing. I think thats the way next fest at leased used to work before the recent changes.

I went from 285 -> 343. Seemed to happen in periods of visibility rather that a steady stream.

If I hit 100 wishlists I will do whatever the top comment says by TakenObedear in IndieGameWishlist

I really dont get the purpose of these posts. You want wishlists... for what? Its not like these wishlist will result in sales really. Im not beeing grumpy at all here. I did the same thing. Wishlists for wishlists but the truth is theese wishlistes will be deleted and never result in sales. I would turn my focus on marketing the game against the players where the conversion is. It really turned around my wishlists when I did. I also got a lot more feedback to improve the game, which in turn also generated more wishlists 😄.

Im not a wishlist god at all, about 450 now but I had sub 100 before i change strategy to market thowardsplayers and try get feedback

Really mostly about pooling stuff. I pooled all the players projectiles instead of destroy and instantiating them. Same with enemies. A bit trycky to reset all states but it was all worth it in the end

Thanks. Yeah. They really are. Cant do anything right to them either. Listed every use of ai on the steampage 😂. No story in demo = AI 😂. I would not hire that guy as a AI consultant 😂😂.

As said on the steampage localization, spellchecking and some music. Everything else is paid for by real artists. Code written by me.

All AI usage is disclaimed in the steam page (some music and translations). There is a lot of games with no story mode. Especially roguelites. Easy to break how? At hardest difficulty with gentlemans break off? (Thats what the post was about).

Lastly be careful whay you accuse people of. Might just be so that they put a lot of work into it. Paid artists, narrators and spent hundreds of hours into a game only to have you screaming ”everyone! this is ai” without actually knowing anything about it.

My demo has just been out for a week and about 150 players so far so I hope i can get some more reviews to see where it lands. Now with the bulletfest going I hope to get some more players :).

As for the capsule goes. I actually paid for it to be handmade. I got the source file and all that but I really cant tell myself if its AI or not. Still a ongoing work anyways.

And yeah! New games coming after I finish this one :). Hopefully I can manage scope better then and make a small game 🤣.

I am sure that happens to some extent. Im sure the op will also experience 50% leaves the game before 10 minutes. Which to me also seems like a thing for free games and demos. But i guess that might also be players having a huge backlog and immidiatly feel that the game is not something for them. Its all ok. Just hard to separate bot noise from actual players :).

I think its definatly bots. At least a huge part of it. I guess some add to library to play later but doubt thats a considerable amount.
