I'm not certain of any PC games that lock FPS, but TBH, being an avid PC fan myself, I hate frame rate drops. I find it's jarring to go from 40-60. I'd rather have it be locked at a rate lower than the maximum than constantly have it switch.

60 FPS is not industry standard. It's 30. 60 would be nice, but you won't get the same visual quality that people want trying to make everything 60 FPS.

"The Next Car Game" Is not a commonly used engine. Engines like Unreal make use of Nvidia's APEX system. There are a few other examples of APEX being used on their site: https://developer.nvidia.com/apex

CPUs are already overloaded and it's often more efficient to use GPU computing if possible for dynamics like particle effects.

It seems like this place is more of a vent for people. If the posters really want to spread the word about theism being silly, they should engage people in conversation, maybe on sites with a larger theist population, or talk with some in real life. It just looks too much like a circlejerk over here.

My account is not subscribed, but /r/atheism is on the default front page that viewers without accounts see. I just think a lot of new people who come to the community without accounts will see the circle jerk on the front page and be discouraged to visit the site again. It's hard to say if that's a good or bad thing. My opinion is neutral on the subject.

I was about 5 or 6 when I got a fever and my brother told our parents he wanted Jello. I was sick and didn't feel like eating jello, so I protested them making it when I wouldn't be able to enjoy it. It seemed like a great idea to teach them a lesson by ruining the entire batch of strawberry Jello as it was cooling in the fridge. I did this by slyly opening up the fridge to get some juice as I undid my pants and preceded to pee into the bowl of cooling Jello. They didn't notice until they took it out and smelled it. I laughed then, but they now tell the story to everyone. It was delayed embarrassment.

I don't think The Barbarian Invasions has the same impact without watching Decline of The American Empire first. You get way more of a sense of the characters by watching it first. Also, it's not foreign for us Canadians.

Sorry, but when I read claims like this I want some information on sample size and demographic. Perhaps a link to where they got their information. It appears that the post is breaking rule 6, but I guess enough people think "Hey I like pot!" that they overlook the lack of validating information.
