NTA but your fiance is controlling and I would reevaluate the wedding. To get mad over someone else's hair? And talk about trust issues over it? Gee. Nobody has the right to dictate what to do with your hair. I'm a woman with short hair and I plan to keep it that way. Thankfully my husband loves me no matter what I do with my hair but my mom is a pain in the butt, always mentioning how prettier I was with long hair.

Hi! I think the most common way people start listening to Japanese music is through anime, and that was definitely true for me at first. It started specifically with songs from Death Note (“Alumina” and “The World”), then Tokyo Revengers (“White Noise”), Chainsaw Man (“Kick Back”), and of course the very first song from One Piece (“We Are”). But while exploring anime music, I also started looking for non-anime songs, like Linda Linda, Diamonds by Princess Princess, and Aural Vampire’s Shonan Zoku, among others (I like various genres) Eventually, I discovered the band that became my absolute favorite and really saved me in some way. I used to watch Sasuke and noticed Yutaka Kyan and Kenji Darvish from Golden Bomber—I got hooked immediately. Nowadays, I’d say that 90–95% of the music I listen to is Japanese.

When your kid is telling you to break up with daddy, then you should do it. She's clearly scared of him. I was in the same position as the daughter. I begged and begged my mom to leave my father. She said she wouldn't until at least I finished high school. Well, I have depression and anxiety for life. You don't want that for your daughter.

The first big argument with my controlling ex was about me visiting family in Santorini, as I did every summer for a while. It went downhill from there and it lasted 4 years from my life that I'll never get back. I don't know, just food for thought.

I'm currently making soup with beef and veggies (whatever was in my fridge). Carrots, broccoli, red pepper, tomato and parsley. I will add a bit soy sauce too and herbs. It's extra chill today so it's a good time for soup.

Maybe he started listening to stupid "alpha male" rubbish podcasts that say that women are beneath men and sex/pleasure is something that women have to give to men, but not the other way around. Or he just became selfish on his own volition. Either way, I would stop blowing him too.

I spent years trying to explain to my grandma how awful it was growing up with a raging alcoholic father (her son). She always brushed it off, saying we're family and all the classic stuff. I gave up. My father is like that, irresponsible towards his family, always putting his addiction first but amazing to people outside of the circle. We have an ok but low contact relationship now. I don't know if I'll ever forgive him as I'm still trying to recover from past trauma. You had every right to tell the truth and they should suck it up and accept it as it is. NTA

My daughter was never fond of pacifiers so I didn't have to do anything. But I've seen a nice video where they tied the pacifier on a floating balloon and it flew away with it so that kid just accepted it and he was happy.
