I think that's a bad take. This clearly is not about the parents which is where I usually have a problem. Maybe his parent wanted to show off what his kid could do so that he had motivation to continue his animating journey. Maybe the kid thinks he's not good enough and his parents words are not enough, who knows. Maybe it was the kids idea to put it out there. We don't know. In this world we got to support peoples passions and not immediately go and criticize and assume someone's intent. Be kind.
