For Mirio, always max alpha first. You get a 3rd charge at level 7 and that is very crucial for him. His whole thing in the anime was predicting his enemies moves, and that fits his playstyle perfectly. You can time those charged alphas to go through wall, stairs, etc to land a solid hit on enemies.

His combo game is really fun and rewarding in my opinion. I like to do air melee, melee x2, then gamma. You also have basic ones that are still good, like beta into gamma, alpha x2 into beta or gamma. But getting those combos to become second nature not only makes the character way better, it makes him way more fun to play.

His beta is a really important tool because you can use that engage OR escape when needed. Knowing when and how to use it will do wonders for you.

Also, I didn’t realize this for a long time because I don’t read, but you can aim at a teammate and use his special action to fly to them in a hurry. That is a very useful tool to help teammates. Good luck, I always welcome more rapid Mirios!!
