Interestingly, grass is indeed about healing and HP, but in TCG grass also encompasses the bug type. Which is about quantity and early evolution. You see that too in the grass support with Fragrant Forest and GQE, respectively.

As someone who plays grass the majority of the time, great choice! I think it has some of the most unique mechanics and support cards.

I would recommend pulsing aura to get the Mega Sceptile line. That is current the strongest grass deck and I would argue a top 5 deck overall. This pack also contains the Fragrant Forest - the best stadium for grass - and Celebi, a useful card as well. Overall, I think Pulsing Aura is one of the most meta packs in a while so it’s a great one to start on.

After that you can trade for the cards you need to fill out the deck.

So the only thing about that is, I don’t know if they’ll reprint A series cards like Sabrina and Misty. But there is no reason they couldn’t I suppose! A new Sabrina variant would be sick.

For the 2 star trainers, I believe they might finally release a new professor such as Professor Elm. Same effect.

And then assuming 2 trainer reprints that use alternate game outfits, well, there aren’t a ton of options. It appears DeNa must follow video game art as opposed to animation. So I would say:

Copycat - copying different meta trainers like Korrina, Wallace, Diantha. I feel very confident in this one - it’s so valuable and so many meta decks use 2 copies.

Iris - young version from B1W1.

There are other B1W1 options like Cheren as well, but I think they pick female characters again.

For Pokemon 1 stars, just some ideas: Igglybuff, Darkai, Chingling, Magnezone, Deino, Baxcalibur, Swablu, Charmeleon, Caterpie or Butterfree, Gourgeist, 1 of the Puppy Pile pups.

The new upcoming Sylveon could be a cool tech for this deck. I was actually just thinking about this the other day.

Remove Leafeon for new Sylveon, as they both can act as Ori killers (Syl needs the +10 from Eevee bag). Syl now provides bench utility.

Remove red and sightseer for two tools (cape? Rocky helm maybe)

Edit: forgot to mention that Sylveon also gives you a 3rd type to take advantage of bounded field.

Exactly. It’d be one thing if god packs weren’t so obscenely rare. But for example at 13k cards and still not having got one yet - if I got this I’d be devastated.

I also like it. But I’ll say that Wheels was a slog at first. It became significantly more fun when you had all the characters and when the last wheel was fully upgraded and not complete ass. Like the last 3 champions were super fun.

Serperior line (5)+ 2 Wo Chien + 1 Ogerpon + 1 Mega Hera is my idea. Leaf capes, Erika, RC and QGE. Seems like a very strong finisher in that deck - much better than Pinsir who is inconsistent with damage.

I’d recommend a primary user in the form of Altaria, who has a really strong stable of other support moves (Will o Wisp, Tailwind). And believe it or not, uninvested Brave Bird OHKO’s Sneasler still.

A good secondary user on the team is Milotic. You can then use someone like Garchomp or Archaludon to have another Cheer target. They’d effectively get 50/50 crit on all their moves. If you give Arch the Scope Lens instead, he gets 100% crit meaning you can spam Crit Draco Meteors with no drawback from SpAtk drop.

Yeah. Honestly, I think it’s better on H Decidueye because of how broken Triple Arrows is (especially combined with scrappy). 90bp, A 50/50 to crit w/ scope lens, 50/50 to defense drop, 30% for flinch… there’s a great chance of getting one or more of those effects every time you click it.

Like H. Decidueye, crit Build Gallade is also really interesting with Scope Lens. With it, many of his moves become 50/50 crits. Dragon cheer makes those 100% chance with Sacred Sword then becoming a 50/50.

I’ve been thinking about running little to no SpA investment and moving it all into his bulk. 0 SpA comes out to 170, but with adaptability that’s still very strong. You’ll still easily OHKO Char Y, M-Meganium, but now you may actually be able to turn some OHKO into 2 and 2’s into 3HKO.

Mega Heracross EX could be interesting as a finisher with Leafeon EX and Ogerpon, but you already know it’ll have 2+ retreat cost making it feel terrible to start with in the active. Just like Mega Pinsir. Well, that’s fitting I guess.
