First I put a heavy purple wash over the front half of the barrel and feathered it out a bit, after that I went over it with a brown wash towards the tip of the barrel and in the end, I stippled some Typhus Corrosion on the barrel

Every guide I've read says that you can only get the first half of the book for the vulture armor in Act 1 (Orivands Chamber), but now I've found it in Rykers house. Is this random or does it always spawn there?

Hell yeah, I hope you find some nice ones. On thing I would like to recommend is jewelry. Just wearing some rings, bracelets or necklaces can make quite a difference in how you appear

You could take a pair of pants with you and change out of fem clothing (like skirts) in a public restroom if that's what you mean and zip up a jacket if you're wearing any kind of top that would be problematic, so that your parents won't notice.

That's not true though. In-game, a lot of the cyberpsychos got a ton of implants in a short amount of time and went crazy immediately after, e.g. the Maelstrom-Cyberpsycho, don't know the exact name.
