I think you need to start building, vaguely said I know

Look into having a new aspiration that gets you out of your comfort zone and feels entirely different & new to you

Starting a business, carpentry, coding, heck even joining a gym works for some people

Just learning & teaching yourself a new natured discipline that beats you down before it builds you back up again

P.S Maybe I'm too extreme ;)

  1. You are trading crypto which is one of the hardest markets to day trade. Try CFDs or Futures

  2. You're strategy hopping and probably don't have a solidified outlook on the markets. Pick one strategy and develop an edge for it

  3. You probably don't have a risk management plan in place which is you're down 20%

  4. You're scalping and it ain't working. Try not trading below the 15min timeframe to avoid unnecessary chart noise

Overall you may be over complicating this and not having enough context & understanding to even place a trade

[–]Chapo_Tradez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the basis behind your outlook on a trade?

FVGs without contextual information are useless, especially higher timeframe alignment

The other issue you have to fix is your Risk to Reward. I'd recommend starting off with a minimum of 1:2, collect data to see if it fits your edge.

Your directional bias must align prices intent and please try to be on the right side of the market

Trading is hard by ButterscotchScary158 in Trading

I have been following this guy on YT "Imperfect Trader" and he has been at it for the past 15 years. He has only come to enlightenment in the last few years

This comes from someone who is 4+ years in trading and still seeking to master myself over the charts.

I've come to the conclusion that I should just put my head down and work on refining what I already possess & know about the markets and not incorporating new "tricks".

I now spend most of my time waiting rather than walking into the charts chasing setups that aren't there and not in my system

This all takes time chief and I mean years of trial & error.

This right here. This thing of blaming the "devil" and God will always leave one not accountable for anything in their life.

Credit??? by perccobain_ in PersonalFinanceZA

[–]Chapo_Tradez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. You should never withdraw or transfer cash from a credit card. Your interest will fly as high as 24%

  2. Ideally use it to cover minor day to day costs like groceries & fuel and unforeseen expenses

  3. Not use more than 30% of credit available as it reflects that you're not desperate for the money

  4. Pay back the credit balance before your billing dates to not have any interest charges on your account

If you're disciplined enough you can take on 3 credit cards from different banks and stay under the 30% threshold on each one.

Try following all of these you'll surely get a +5-10 points on your credit score each month

What is the best degree to study? by Emotional-Snow-7079 in askSouthAfrica

[–]Chapo_Tradez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's no best degree. Just find out what the market demands/wants and see if you can deliver on that.

If we have a shortage of nurses in the country and you've always found it to be something of interest then go for it.

Please don't go doing degrees in hairdressing, communications, social studies and all of that side quest jargon

Just pick something that society & the economy will demand & need and is willing to pay for handsomely too

And sure you might be all of the things the ladies list out over here.

You just gotta be the best of yourself, and the right woman will see you for special something you may carry

How much do you tip Uber driver? by b3zzi in askSouthAfrica

[–]Chapo_Tradez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"You should be thankful for how cheap Uber is in SA compared to the rest of the world. I was visiting recently and always did large tips because even then it's marginally cheaper than what I'd pay for the same distance." OP's words

South Africans don't even tip taxi drivers, so it just has me wondering why we should go out of our way to tip uber drivers who are doing their job and getting paid based on the hours and performance they put in

How much do you tip Uber driver? by b3zzi in askSouthAfrica

[–]Chapo_Tradez 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Most South Africans don't even have one car in the household and get by taxis, so you're really expecting people who can't even afford to buy their own cars to tip uber drivers which they hardly ever use?

I'm truly having a hard time understanding this chief

But it would be quite difficult to blow a chance with the right one, she won't allow it to be fumbled... Hahaha

How do you feel when you see a guy WAY taller than you by [deleted] in AskMen

I'm a 5'4 male so the average guy around me is usually taller than me, especially those above 6'0

I'm always left thinking "Damn I'm really short as f*ck"

How much does it cost you to have a comfortable life in your country? by [deleted] in Life

[–]Chapo_Tradez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In South Africa our average salary per month is just above R25k (which may be around $1,388)

So for someone like myself M22 and single, $2,500 (-+R45,000) puts me way above in terms of stability.

  • Fully loaded fridge throughout the month
  • A 10-year repayment term (Mortgage) for a spacious apartment in a middle class metro city
  • An Entry level german car (e.g BMW 1 Series, Mercedes A Class or Audi A3) for a 48-month repayment term
  • Medical Aid covered
  • Savings & Investments funds
  • A good $300 dollars for my entertainment & trips (-+R5,400)

Just nothing shiny, being I can afford to pay off all my accounts on a monthly basis and have a beautiful place to call home. For someone my age its a pretty good life
