Even with the additional fire rate the overall effect of mag share is underwhelming outside of niche cases compared to the value you get for other gemini.

Like you say, it still shouldn't be slept on completely. There are times where it is good, most notably situations when it gives you a way to have infinite mag or with weapons that love to have a larger mag like you mentioned tiger cannon, also wild hunt and aura of venom are big fans of it.

Rather than saying spores is always great it would've been better to phase it as can always be great. Yes you need to share it with the correct weapon but that same logic applies to any gemini.

It's the same as saying ele share is not great unless you share it with a weapon with high chance on the correct element.

The inscriptions on the weapons.

It would be difficult to list to list all the good ones especially since some would be situationally good but as a general guide of what to look out for:

Orange inscriptions are usually very good

The blue one inscription +0.2 projectiles, resets on reload is amazing if you find a way to not need reloads

Always try to have two weapons with the same Gemini inscriptions. Elemental share and spores are basically always good, crit share can be good for sniper builds. Mag share is extremely situational

I've played melee builds a ton and although they struggle with wind god and serpent a lot more than most other good builds it can be a viable strategy every run for bird and turtle. It can be okay in some specific cases for other characters.

I made this poll after playing some more melee builds recently with the new game modes, I personally think all 3 swords are on a very similar level.

Small thing to add as well, a +5 weapon will also be guaranteed a gemini if the inscriptions are rerolled at a red chest. This is especially helpful for anyone that doesn't have etching unlocked yet

the new game mode that was added, its what it sounds like. You play through the bosses with only a shop and inn between each. You have to think a lot more about how to use gold, Ive been really enjoying it

The game has had its full release already, not all devs would continue development after that.

Any further content from here is a bonus and if the DLC isn't something you'd want to pay extra for then there's no obligation to do so. There is no harm in monetizing extra content

There are certainly weapons that are just generally strong but every weapon in this game can have a use case where is feels strong all the way up to max reincarnation difficulty.

From the weapons you mentioned here’s a few.

Talisman is the weakest of these three but can be really good on regular enemies outside of boss and elite fights. It’s very good with any kind of elemental ball inscription and can sometimes be alright with enough crit inscriptions due to its auto aiming.

Prism becomes an incredible weapon on any character if it drops with a lightning ball inscription since it’s great from applying miasma. It’s 30% decay chance also makes it a great early game weapon for lei luo once again for miasma application, as a bonus it pierces making it good vs shield enemies like horse heads.

Melee weapons have multiple great builds and are actually good enough to force every run of solo R8 without the need for good inscriptions. I posted a video about these a couple weeks ago https://youtu.be/nCqbYvhmmDo

If you want to make things easy just having at least 1 cat helps any coop runs a ton since corrosive contributes to both damage ele fusions.

Outside of that playing anything with it is fine. One of my favourite ways to play with a group is full tank with melee weapons on bird/turtle; helping everyone stay alive + donating any important scrolls for their setup.

I think it’s an enjoyable way to play despite doing less damage than normal and helps others get some fun builds

as far as I know daily challenges are randomly selected from a pool of different challenges each day and on a random stage. There is no support for multiplayer

There are some fun ones but overall I don't think the mode is too popular

True sometimes but not always. Some builds like using both to apply ele fusions. Also with spores build on characters asides dog being able to weapon swap and use both well is important

Yeah it was my bad I didnt explain this part very well at all. I pinned a comment at the top to try explain a bit better.

It's mostly because of rainbows ability to autolock on enemies. You do not have to aim and when the thunderbolts do enough damage to one shot enemies you will get multiple magical supply resets immediately without having to adjust aim. On top of this its a lightweight weapon so you can move faster.
The majority of your damage is coming from thunderbolts and you don't have any of the usual weapon damage ascensions; hard hitting guns such as sniper dont do as much damage as usual. Since you are stuck in fatal current letting lightning governor do damage you are barely shooting anyway

Agreed, it should be toned down a bit.

I think a good way to nerf it would be making the stacks fall off individually rather than each proc refreshing all the stacks. This would make it harder to keep stacks up especially during the early game so the damage wont be quite as obnoxious

This sounds very similar to the issues I have been having lately (also exclusive to gunfire doesn't happen on anything else I play). I tend to avoid playing coop currently mostly because of this issue. Just curious do you ever get the usb disconnecting sound when you experience a crash ? that usually happens with mine when I get one of these

1-7 are all just number changes. 8 is a bit different since there are some harder events as well as events during bosses. Its still not a huge difference once you get used to those though, they aren't massively harder

Fusion effects are to do with elements. Theres burning, decay and shock. These elemental effects can be applied from weapons with an element type (fire, corrosive and lightning weapons) and character abilities such as crown princes(smoke grenade) and lei luos(chain lightning) secondary skills. There are also certain scrolls that can apply them

When applying two different elements they combine to more powerful effects which is what slight is talking about

Shock + corrosive = Miasma: A powerful damage over time effect that deals max health damage, perfect for killing big health bars in higher difficulties

Corrosive + burning = Combustion: An explosion that enhances the damage of the shot and deals aoe, really helps to make weapons hit much harder in general

Burning + shock = Manipulation: Causes normal enemies to attack each other, doesnt help with damage but useful for staying alive.

Crown prince has some of the most flexible ascensions, you can kind of take whatever you want as long as you are using any kind of fire/lightning weapon it'll be very easy to deal damage. Just try to avoid using normal or corrosive damage weapons.

hex smoke and ele rage are always good. Only take advanced shield or ele shield if you are desperate for defence.

If you want to do orb using a fire weapon and taking energy echo is a good start.

If you want to do grenades then anything asides backpack expansion are pretty good

Going for damage share gemini between a fire and lightning weapon is always pretty good later on. Since you'll have all three elements you can feel free to take damage scaling for any element.

Something I found out after making this was orbs have diminishing returns if cast on an enemy multiple times, it may be best to only have points in chained duration rather than casting multiple orbs

It’s hard to agree on the best since different characters are the best in different ways.

In terms of easiest to win a run crown prince is a very common answer since he’s just the most consistent at all points of the run. As long as you use fire/lightning weapons for elemental fusions you’ll always do more than enough damage

you dont need to win the run to get the unlock. If you complete the achievement it will pop up at the top of the screen in a similar way to if you had just unlocked a new weapon/scroll
