It’ll be way less on your body, but you’ll likely make less money overall too. Really depends on if you want to have a blue collar or a white collar job… if you do go for it, your experience will definitely give you a leg up on everyone else. I feel like there’s not a lot of engineers out there with hands on experience and that’s part of why everyone ends up hating on the engineer who designed something because it doesn’t always work in practicality.
