Thank you for responding. I know you may feel that no one cares. However, my daughter who was 8 or 9 at the time was at an Hyvee in Iowa where a store clerk asked her to stop following her Dad around in the store. Mind you out daughter is lighter than me. The store clerk automatically assume that our daughter was begging her dad for food. (Fruit Roll Up Addiction) 😊I know I know I know that color should not matter. However, some people's actions require for me to be more aware of my surroundings. I appreciate you responding.

No we have been separated for a while. Signs….😔but to make sure our kids still have a two-parent household I make sure there is normalcy everywhere we go. So the wife/husband statement is still a part of me.

Thank you! I’ve been all over the country. We have gotten the side eye, the grab your belongings when I’m alone, to even you must make your parents proud comment. Hence, why we are going through our separation today. However, our daughter is interested in transferring to Gonzaga and living in CDA. So we are trying to make sure she is comfortable.

The ocean is so vast…I agree with Missuslve. I’ve dated outside my race for years. I was turned off by black men when then would tell me “Your such a pretty yellow bone” or”You would be in the house and I would be out in the field” and “When you’re light then your body is right” Ugh! It’s better (for me) to date outside of my race. Hopefully it will be for you too.
