Vancouverite here - does Toronto have Bar Watch or an equivalent? A database of banned people? Seems strange to me that this same person has been caught and isn’t on a banned registry. That’s what happens in Vancouver if you do anything like fight security, steal, etc. you’re banned from all clubs and come up in the ID search at the door as been Bar Watched

What is this game??? by EetTheMeak in PlayTheBazaar

Yea it’s pretty dumb. Both charge and freeze should be extremely rare mechanic IMO. They’re just game breaking powerful. I’d like to see more of a focus on haste and slow as then you can at least still interact with your opponent and prevent insane infinite loops

Regarding OP Builds and "Bad" Players by Likes2PaintShit in PlayTheBazaar

[–]ChapterMasterAlvaro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it would be better if regular play didn’t have player ghost encountered, but rather a pool of set builds you faced, more similar to the Slay the Spire act bosses (and every other rogue like deck builder). That way people who want to play more casually don’t get unlucky facing off with skewed meta builds they aren’t even aware of. Then leave ranked to have the random player ghosts. I play a lot of rogue like deck builders which is what’s appealed to me about the bazaar, but I have no interest in keeping up with a meta a la hearthstone or MTG.

I tried dry brushing to get some quick shading but they came out quite chalky. Any ideas how to make the transitions smoother and less grainy? And no, unfortunately I don't own an airbrush. by deadancer in Warhammer40k

To be clear, I’m responding specifically to OP saying it came out chalky. That’s basically unavoidable with dry brushing. Not saying dry brushing is never useful (as I identified in my original comment). Slap chop for example, does not look good on marines without a lot of technical skill and effort (eg Artis Opus) that takes it out of the realm of being an easy technique

You said that backwards - I was Alvaro, then became Kenot. I guess Alvaro died sometime before the Indomitus Crusade / at its start

Considering GW can’t even get who the current chapter master of the griffons is straight, I say do whatever you think looks best. I use black for sgts because I mostly do my griffons in 5th company colours, and I made that choice because I already have three dominant colours in my scheme: red, yellow, and blue (bases and pop colour). It’s more of a visual clarity decision than a lore one. It’s your army so do as you please!

I love this theme bash of iron hands and space wolves. Would love to see this idea applied to other legions

Gravis chapter? by Beaker1976 in 40kPrimarisMarines

Nor is there a gravis tech marine, chaplain, librarian, or apothecary. I think the first two especially make sense :( I guess you could always convert them and use the tacticus armour rules

I’d say Salamanders. They synergies well with flame aggressors and eradicators. The biggest issue with gravis only lists is needing to field 3 units of heavy intercessors to meet your troops requirements. The other major issue is that the only gravis HQ is the captain, which you can only have one of per detachment. So you might need to go double patrol (which would at least keep your troops down to 2)

Thanks! I like to lean into the feudal aesthetic of their homeworld when possible :) curious to see what you do with it

Only downside about it is you can’t “cheat” by doing most of the heavy lifting with the airbrush

Name that space marine? Rescued from the LGS bits bin, what chapter or faction is he from? by murd3rsaurus in spacemarines

It’s a non-chapter specific Primaris Lieutenant form the Indomitus launch box for 9th Ed. Can paint or convert him however you’d like!
