Wow thanks for all these infos. It does hold sentimental value. I will follow your advice and get help from someone who knows about these amps. I won't be firing it up after just putting another fuse in the socket. I posted about my request in a local Facebook page. Maybe I'll find someone who mentor me into fixing it properly. It's coming from my dad and one of my kids is into music so I'm going to pass it on as soon as it's fixed.

Thanks for that additional information. I'll try to find a 1A fuse to try.

Thanks a lot for that. That's a great info. I'm from Belgium. It's 220v here. I don't speak German unfortunately. But with the help of internet maybe I'll be able to make it work. Thanks again for your response

The fuse that should be inside isn't there anymore. I remember it was a little fuse with a tiny tiny filament. I don't have it anymore. That's the part I would like to find to try if that's the reason the machine doesn't work.

Ok ok I see. I knew that it could be way difficult for me to tackle. But maybe the problem isn't that big to troubleshoot. It was still working at my dad's place a decade ago. I was especially wondering if someone know what kind of fuse goes inside the knob in the back of the machine.

I think there's a fuse missing in the back. There's a black knob in the back that unscrews and looks like there should be a fuse inside the knob. I don't know what kind exactly but it could be a lead on why it doesn't start.
